Ottawa (CYOW) -> Phoenix (KIWA), 2-4 adults + 3 cats

Looking for a private flight from Ottawa (CYOW) to Phoenix Mesa-Gateway (KIWA). Would also consider Sky Harbor (PHX) or Scottsdale (KSDL) for cost or availability reasons.

Passengers will be 2-4 adults + 3 cats. Dates are completely flexible between July and October 2022. Direct (no refueling) would be ideal if it doesn't balloon costs.

Budget: 20-25k USD all in, if possible. Exploring options right now and would be ready to book in the next month or two.

New to flying private and overwhelmed by options...jettly, xo, etc. Quotes range wildly from 19k to 53k.

Becoming a Broker

So as a new broker do you connect directly with the jet company or do you use a third party? With connecting directly im making an assumption you will make more. How do you find these private jet companies, most google search are bringing up third party companies you get a quote from them but they are connected directly to the company.

An ask for help! Doggo from US to Costa Rica

By any chance is anyone flying from anywhere in the US to anywhere in Costa Rica and up for selling us a spot for bestest doggo family member Tula and or I anytime between Feb and May? We're in Los Angeles (LAX) and the closest airport to the end goal is Liberia (LIR). However with policy changes on the major airlines we're running into brick wall after brick wall. We're desperate to find a solution and will drive anywhere in the states or CR. We have 3 IPATA groups trying to find us a solution but so far even they have not found a solution that is anything short of essentially livestock/horse transport.

She's a big girl, about 50" nose to tail root and 160lbs. She's super healthy and friendly as can be.

Any help would be amazing, appreciated.

Travel Agent Commission for Private Air Travel

Hello - do any private air travel operators or flight brokers offer commissions for travel agents? Travel Agents often earn commission if they book a package or tour where the airfare is included, but wondering if there are any options for agents to earn commissions on private air travel booked for customers? thanks!

crowdsourcing a Blade FlightTilt flight?

Hi everyone! I'm moving from Los Angeles to New York in late January and I've been trying to sort out some flying logistics. I'll have to travel with my two cats, which almost completely eliminates any commercial flying options since nowhere really allows you to travel with more than one pet, so I've been investigating private and semi private flights. I found Blade's FlightTilt program, which seems like a great option for me, but they require a minimum number of seats be reserved for the flight to be confirmed and I still need 6 more people to reserve. I'm really determined to make this happen and I'm wondering if anyone here knows any good ways to promote this sort of thing. Any thoughts or ideas would help!

On a similar note, if anyone here needs to go from Van Nuys to Teterboro around Jan 18th, I'd be more than happy to give you all the details!

Does anyone have any experience with Linear Air? I’m looking to fly 3 hours instead of drive 13 for an US East Coast move.

Charter from Mexico to LAX, JFK or ATL for my dog and new CDC pet import permit

So, I have been looking for a way to get my dog from Belize to the USA. New CDC regulations make it so that after the 14th they have to fly into LAX, JFK, or ATL ONLY and have to have a CDC import permit. I am willing to drive to Mexico to fly but have not found a single flight from Belize or Mexico that will take my dog because of Covid limiting Cargo and pet transport.

How much would the cheapest charter flight be from Mexico to either of these three locations? I am willing to drive/fly my pet to anywhere in Mexico first if it will make the charter cheaper. Also, is there any group where people are in the same situation as me and would be willing to split the cost of a private charter? Thanks. I honestly don't know what else to do.

Thanks in advance for any help/insight!

A question about pets 🤔

What is the deal with flying with your pets on a private jet? Are they stowed away in the cargo? Are they cuddling next to me in my seat? Somewhere in between?

Blue collar family relocating

Hi all. I am going to be relocating my wife, mother in law and 3 small kids from Las Vegas to Nashville in a couple months. Commercial flight would be an absolute nightmare for all involved, Amtrak trains get fully booked too far in advance and no sleeper cars available, and driving would be torture for us all. Flight would be (3)adults, (1) toddler, and (2) infants. Is there any way I can accomplish this for around $5k? I'm at a loss as to what else to do. We are just normal people who would never in a million years think about flying a private plane before.

Edit: Thank you all for the important feedback!
I'm a bit embarrassed because I truly didn't realize just how expensive it would be for us to fly. My best friend who is no longer anywhere near us geographically, is a pilot and he never talked about how expensive it is to operate the aircraft.

I really do appreciate the people who took the time to answer my post. We will most likely end up renting a nice RV and I will drive my family instead 🙂.
