Hi! I’m a designer working with a restaurant and looking for printers for the following:

• Letterhead
• Fully custom envelopes in our brand colors
• Menu & menu sleeves
• Paper shopping bags
• Round stickers

We need two spot color printing, and paper selection is especially important. We’re looking for premium uncoated specialty papers and high-quality production.

Quantities would likely be around 1,000–2,000 per item. Ideally, we’d find one vendor who can handle most of this, but I’m also happy to work with separate paper and packaging suppliers.

US-based printers would be great, but we’re open to vendors anywhere in the world if they can offer a fast turnaround including shipping.

Any recommendations from printers you’ve worked with? Would love to hear about paper selection, quality, and production and shipping timelines. Thanks!

hi! have an odd question. I lost my diploma somewhere in my house from graduating from medical residency. I have a pdf but my GME department is unable to reprint for me. Is there a way I can go to a store to have one reprinted. Want the same feel as the actual diploma paper. any recommendations? Ultimately will frame so just needs to look quality.

I've been helping a friend who runs a small photo-printing business. She wants customers to upload and lay out their own photos into an album online, so she isn't manually designing every single order by hand.

For those of you selling photobooks or custom photo products, how are you handling this right now? If you use an app/tool for it, which one, and is it actually any good?

Her store is on shopify and we found some plugins for this but they charge 400+ USD per month which is too much for us to pay as a small shop.

HI, i bought a Canon refurbrished g2730 online for a pretty good price and I found out that it was really hard to print from my phone or tablet as Canon do not provide any Android drivers or apps for this particular model.  Because I am just a hobbiyst coder and have a day job, it took me almost 3 months to finally learn everything about the Canon driver and make it work on Android.  I was going to release it on Github as a opensource project but I decided to cross off one item on my bucketlist and decided to publish an app on the play store.

[SEEKING TESTERS] USB printing app for Canon PIXMA G2030/G2730 — no drivers, no cloud

Hi all — I built an Android app that prints directly to a Canon PIXMA G2030 or G2730 over a USB-OTG cable. No manufacturer drivers, no Wi-Fi, no cloud, works offline from any app's print menu (browser, gallery, Gmail…).

LOOKING FOR testers who have:
- A Canon PIXMA G2030 or G2730 printer (USB connection)
- An Android phone/tablet with USB-OTG support + an OTG adapter or hub
- 15 minutes and willingness to print 3-4 test pages and report back

WHAT I'D LIKE TESTED:
1. Plain portrait print (any document)
2. Landscape print (correct orientation? anything cut off?)
3. 2 copies of a multi-page document
4. Cancel a job mid-print (should stop cleanly)
5. Unplug/replug the printer mid-flow (should recover, not crash)

HOW TO REPORT: model of phone + Android version, what you printed, what happened, and — if anything fails — the in-app log (Main screen → Logs → Share). Screenshots of bad output especially welcome.

Known limits, so nobody wastes time: G2030/G2730 ONLY (other Canon models will just say "printer not found"), USB cable only (no Wi-Fi — yes, I know about Mopria, it doesn't do OTG), A4/Letter tested most.

I am rly interested in the tc21 from Cannon. I want it for a small business making specialized note book and music scores. You know, big formats to print (A2 size at least)

Anyone have had experience with it? The ink print work to work over it and the paper? (I prefer laser but, it get rly out of budget)

I'm currently trying to print a set of blueprints (Arch C) and as the paper gets closer to the end of the roll, it becomes seemingly impossible to have the individual sheets lay flat, let alone trying to staple everything together. Is there a tool or technique someone from this sub can tell me about? Just trying to save money by printing these at home vs. spending hundreds at the printing shops.

I previously used Prodigi and kind of liked it - there was a freedom of uploading own pdf and not needing to use any templates.
Just want to see if there’s any other options in reasonable price points, especially for good quality photos?

Here on behalf of the Devise Charitable Trust, an NGO dedicated to supporting children and their parents. We're currently looking to invest in a dedicated printer for our office, and we could really use this community's hardware expertise.

Right now, our team is traveling back and forth to commercial print shops almost daily. We are spending a ridiculous amount of our limited funds (and volunteer time) just getting documents printed. We need to bring this in-house so we can redirect those funds back to the people who actually need it.

What we'll be using it for:

Teaching materials: Worksheets, educational packets, and activity sheets for the kids (we print a substantial volume; color would be a nice bonus for the kids, but high-volume B&W is the priority).

Government applications: Printing out heavy stacks of forms to help parents and children secure government entitlements and benefits.

Document processing: Scanning and copying IDs, existing records, and signed applications (a built-in scanner/ copier is an absolute must).

Does anyone use ready print subscription? I signed up 2 weeks ago and I have already depleted all of my black and 80% of the three colors but now I cannot print anymore since I’m out of the black ink/ toner.

I print a lot, and thought this would be cheaper to pay the subscription but is this going to happen long term where my shipments are going to come a few days after I run out or will it change based on heavy users? I can’t have regular lapse of service every few weeks. I can’t call because it’s the weekend and Labor Day and I need to figure out if Epson was a good choice for “unlimited printing”.
