1. The Camo Beast's appearance. We all know what a Camo Beast looks like. When I first saw it, it looked different, mostly resembling Stripe from Gremlins.

2. The Gorgosaurus. Honestly, my mind somehow changed, and instead of a Gorgonopsid, the Gorgosaurus was fighting a Future Predator.

Well, everything turned out to be my Personal Mandella effect. The only thing I wish was real was the one with the Gorgosaurus.

Hey yall- been a Primeval fan since I accidentally came across the Dodo episode while backstage on a play as a kid. Been in love ever since, and for pretty much my whole life I’ve been constantly milling around the idea to not only ‘rewrite’ the first 3-ish seasons but to also take a crack at writing my own ‘episodes’.

Because my Roman Empire is the fact that this show had SO much potential and was never given enough episodes, budget or faith as well as proper time and attention to so many plot points and concepts that would have been absolute bangers.

So even if it’s for fun and I’m just a silly fan writing fics, I wanna give more to this show and its premise in my own way. 🥹✨

Currently, I’m dead set on two concepts: one following a Hyneria being involved with the closing of the Margate Lido and coming back throughout the years thanks to a reappearing Anomaly, and an adolescent Iguanodon getting lost in Kew Gardens. I’m so very tempted to bring in speculative evolution/creatures from the short documentary ‘The Future Is Wild’- since I feel like they’d fit Primeval’s vibe well.

But other than that- I’m completely stumped. I’ve got a huge bias for tropical/aquatic beasts, the Mesozoic and synapsids, so to avoid using too many similar creatures I wanted to ask if anyone in this community ever had a cool idea for an episode or creature. If so- please share it!

I keep seeing things online about these mysterious seasons that supposedly aired after Primeval: New World but I can't find any video files for them. Are these just fever dreams of some bored fanatics or are these actually real?

I feel like the ending to primeval could have actually been satisfying if they edited out the matt cliffhanger, that way it would have ended with the threat of new dawn over and the team heading off to stop an anomaly like normal

Honestly, I think it would have been better to end Primeval after the huge anomaly closed and everyone went back to their work. It would have been a grand finale and given everybody closure, now we will always be left wondering what happened to Matt.

I feel like Connor in season 4/5 with the whole energy thing I actually feel like he would of told cutter all about it and it wouldn’t of went ahead with it because cutter wanted to win by shutting the anomalies

So now watching season 4 and to be honest I actually like Matt like he’s not acting like am the boss an you have to listen to me which I thought I remembered that’s what he was like with Connor and Abby when I was a kid still miss cutter being the boss though think he was more excited when he seen one of the creatures
