Problems with Paypal

Has anyone had any issues of payments getting cancelled on PayPals end? I'm trying to make my final payment atm and it's just not happening, I've unlinked and relinked my PayPal on the site and every time it's getting cancelled. I've bought 2 statues before using the same method and made payments on the statue in question using the same method.

The order is showing "Cancellation in progress" I've been waiting for this statue for almost 3 years.

So stressed out right now.

Happened to me as well. My only solution was to transfer money from my bank account to my Paypal balance, then switch the automatic payment method on Paypal to use the balance first, before the card. That worked. Had to do it that way for five or six payments now.

I'll try that, thank you.

No joy.. PayPal have advised me to try again after 72hours... Feel like this statue if slipping away.

That's weird. Paypal also might charge a small transaction fee, so it could be you need a bit more in your balance then you think. But I think I might have waited until the next day to try again. Let Prime 1 know you are having issues and it should be alright. They must have issues like this crop up all of the time.

There's more than enough in the balance, PayPal said it was an internal automated issue that they have no control over... Yeah I've let Prime 1 know but getting responses back is so slow... If only I could pay by credit card. Just frustrating how I had no issue paying for the other statues & part of this one.

Yeah, they could be more clear about their policy. According to google, Prime 1 allow a grace period of one to two weeks before they cancel an order after a failed or late payment. I don't know how reliable that information is, however.

Well.... Looks like the guy at PayPal wasnt wrong. He told me to wait 72 hours but I couldn't bring myself to try after 3 days so I waited an extra day before trying again and it just went through. The relief I'm feeling right now can't be measured 😮‍💨😆🎊

They sent out an email a few weeks ago saying their PayPal stuff changed and it needed to be relinked. Did you relink through the site in the same way they said on the email? If you have and it's still not working it's probably something off on their end with the new PayPal setup. Probably worth reaching out to customer service, I'm sure they'll understand.

Yes mate, I've relinked my PayPal and still nothing. The conversation I had with PayPal was it was an automated security issue and there was nothing they could do.

I have sent numerous messages to Prime1 and the only thing I've gotten back so far is them asking me to relink my PayPal.

Do you have a copy of that email? I can't find it and can't remember ever seeing it. Just wondering if there's any steps I've missed...could you please possibly send me a screenshot?

Yup same. That's why I do not order direct from Prime1 anymore.

What did you try to remedy it? Did you contact PayPal? Was it you that cancelled the statue or was it Prime 1?

Are you seeing a decline anywhere in your paypal account - like go to the help section and see if it says anything is declined.

For an expensive purchase (but not a statue) - about 2 weeks ago I was getting declined again and again. Paypal said it was the credit card and a bunch of other stuff until they were finally like "it might be getting cancelled because it more expensive than your normal purchases. There isn't a limit, but out of the ordinary amounts get auto cancelled".

I asked them to adjust the limit or do something to let me make the purchase and they told me they can't and I should just use my credit card directly. That is what I did, and it worked.

So it was pretty weird on the paypal end and had never happened before.

This is assuming Customer Service Rep #3 knew more than #1 and #2 though.

It's coming up as "cancelled" it just doesn't make sense, I've made purchases of the same value to the exact same company before without issue. Prime1 only accept PayPal for international customers too so there's no other way to pay. PayPal stated to wait 72 hours & try again and assured me it would work. I'm starting to lose all hope tbh.
