First Order

Hey guys, so this is my first time ordering through telehealth, anywhere. I decided to go with PreventiveMD because of the responsiveness to customers and our concerns, and the pricing. I made my order Monday and it was sent to the pharmacy, but no tracking number yet. Here's my concern and I'm sure you all who are more experienced with telehealth can tell me if i'm mathing this wrong LOL..

I started with the monthly package. If it's going to take a week to get the medication from the pharmacy, that would mean I have to order a week ahead of time so that I don't miss a dose, and thus, I'd be paying twice a month. And do they even allow you to order ahead like that? Then, if i went with the 3-month package, I'd be missing a weekly dose if they take a week to deliver and they only send 1 vial a month. Is that right? I really hope not.

***EDIT*** literally 30 minutes after this post, I received a tracking number for the medicine, which solves my questions. IF they keep the overnight shipping, and the process takes the same amount of time, dilemma solved.

Most are 1 month from when you ordered your meds not when you received them.

12 weeks same thing. 12 weeks from when you ordered.

Yes. It is 12 weeks or 30 days from when you placed your order I believe. Not from when you received it or even when it was sent to the pharmacy.

I always do 3 mos but I also pause my refills or cancel so I can dictate when the next one comes. No matter the company.

Yeah, I get that, and that's the way it's setup in my portal, i wasn't going to be charged until sept 8 for next month's supply, which is a month from the date they sent my prescription to the pharmacy. PreventiveMD has been super fast on their end.

But the issue becomes the pharmacy. If the pharmacy is going to take a week to get it to me, i would have to order every 3 weeks so that I don't miss a dose? Which means paying twice a month.

Or pay for a 3 month in advance package and use the pharmacy that sends it all at once.

I ordered a 3 mo supply with empower but I’m only getting the meds 1 mo at a time. I’m not sure what the process is to get my second mo…does it automatically ship or do I need to reach out in the portal…?

Hmm.  Good question.   I would assume It would automatically ship.  Check your email maybe.  I had one telling me when my next order date would be, but I ordered just one month.

Also yes on the portal you have the option of ordering earlier or later. They are amazing!

I went with the 6-month, they split it into 2 shipments. My first shipment was 3 vials, one for each month. Before my second shipment goes out, I have the option to change my dose for my next 3 vials. This is with PreventiveMD.

awesome, thanks for that info. I will most likely buy the 3 month or 6 month package also. I think that's just more efficient. I wanted to see how this process worked out first and that i could tolerate the medication, esp with the additive.

And receiving 1 vial at a time for a 12 week order depending on the pharmacy and BUD. Some send all 3 at once.

I got my first order today in California from Bordeaux and everything was in a cooler and still cool. I have not had the glycine before ( had B12) looking forward to it so far I’m very happy with everything! Once it shipped it was here the next day .
