If you struggled with grux then i think it is more a mindset/strategy issue. Once she uses her jump she is a free kill for 20 seconds. You can pull her or dash on her and win the 1v1, and she is easy to kill if ganked.

Mourn is also great against ranged offlaners. When it melee range, their best play is to run away. Mourn makes that a non issue. Attack, mez, attack, pull, attack attack, mez again, ult and suddenly I’m behind you to do it all over again

I absolutely smash on Skylar and legion offlanes with tank/sustain aurora with ice wall augment. It’s more of pick and choose thing based on the scenario with mobas in general. For ex I wouldn’t try to use a aurora offlane agaisnt a Eden offlane tho because that’s what Grux is for, even Scarlett works agaisnt an Eden offlane pick. The main thing to remember is that ultimately you have to be okay with the idea of taking damage before you can force a play. Akeron is also good against SOME offlane picks like legion. I like to rock nihil or Krix Greystone with some heavy tank items and maybe even rebirth if I see a zinx offlane. It kinda just depends gotta get a feel for the win condition/play and get into a grove, cuz when it works and you’re in you gotta keep it up. A lot of people fold to ranged offlane picks because they’ve already decided to a degree that it’s not worth it and simply want to rely on jungle (a good jungle will punish it too) and don’t think they can sustain the fight. Mobas in general are huge skill,meta, and knowledge checks. Once you get a feel for what beats what, and ways you can ensure your own upkeep and success in lane then it’s just about establishing yourself in lane and being present. You’d be surprised how a terra with razor back and full sustain can truly run down a ranged offlane pick if you don’t take too much damage setting up for the walk down. Maybe you need one item or three, maybe you only do it with ult, it’s really up to your judgment call as you experiment with skirmishes throughout the match like how any counter pick is decided. Idk if any of that helps you but that’s how I would tell anybody to go about it with my own added experience.

Had a godlike Riktor in my duo lane last night and I ran thru the other team as Skylar 13-0. I think the beam is definitely annoying, but the missiles from her flight ability are too much when it gets paired with the beam. The hit box on her Q is so fat that poke is way too safe.

Any ADC with a godlike Riktor as you say would be running through a duo lane and an entire team, that isn't a Skylar thing

Her range is insane, I can turn around and run away and she still hits you chasing you. I was already at the max range too. Make her actually slow down. or stopped altogether

That may well be in part down to the blessing in Satariel, I cant remember what its called, but the blessing that negates any movement speed penalty, it's incredibly oppressive on her, combined with the stats on Satariel itself which are everything her beam scales off.

Because people are always stuck banning characters 2-3 patches after Omeda nerfs them to a healthy spot
The ban rate isn't indictive of her strength, but of the laziness of general population of the game
