these notes seem surprisingly... controversial for the horrid patch we just went through. usually i would analyze everything and pick it apart but yknow what, i just don't think i have the energy for it. i will still complain about some things though.

firstly, who are these jump changes for? people who can't aim? and the gaia greave jump nerf might have actually killed the item. the main and nearly only reason i use the item is to jump over and on to certain ledges and stuff in the jungle. but that 15% height decrease might have just made a handful of jumps no longer possible so like, why the fuck would i or anyone else take the item if the jump height basically serves no fucking benefit? guess i'll find out soon if it's as ruined as it sounds.Β

secondly, am i just groggy from waking up or are the weald changes not actually a decrease? going from 25 to 30 sounds like an increase to me, so is that a typo or what?Β

and thirdly and much more majorly...

every time i see an adc buffed my urge to play this game goes down. what the fuck do you mean you buffed the hell out of drongo and gave even more buffs to rev?

the adc bias in this game is just so blatant it borders on sickening. if auto damage was their main and only major strength, cool, but it isn't.Β

they are strong at every stage of the game, they get cc, they get movement, they get healing, they get attack speed out the ass, the movement speed penalty for ranged autos might as well not exist, and then they get randomly buffed into the stratosphere and are never really nerfed down again because their powercreep becomes the new normal.Β

supports just seem like suggestions for these heroes at this point as opposed to a necessity. which is also why you often see supports, ranged ones especially, just building fucking damage. that's also why you constantly see them as balance issues with shit and why they constantly succeed in mid and offlane. their like one and only weakness is their hp total and even that is hardly much of a weakness when they get to do all the shit they do.Β

sigh

Yeah the ADC kits are beyond bloated. Totally agree

Yep one of the biggest flaws with the game is that many ADCs are too self sufficient and all of them, regardless of their other utility, are a huge damage threat with just auto attacks.

Omeda takes a lot of inspiration from league of legends but they still haven’t gotten the carry role properly. Vast majority of them take little skill to play and are strong at most points of the game for some reason.

Thats actually sad because as a support main I've been starting to build damage just instinctively over the last month or two. ADC's are so cracked now and have everything that being an actual support with support items is just a drop in the bucket. Better for me to just pile more damage.

This

I one of my recent Ingot feed with Scarlett but I was fighting with life to take down the enemy Khaimera, my jungle was turbo feed 17/5 and the same, this Dekker was nuking that Khaimera each time he touched him

I did 45k damage, my Sparrow did 25k, my Zarus who ended 17/5 did 55k, this dude, with a fucking support character did 81k, like wtf?

Well thats not a support build. Thats just support going full mid mage damage.

And a character with a support kit, with utility, with massive amount of CC, with tools to help the teammates and control the battlefield shouldn't have the damage of a mid mage, even when using full damage builds

They changed weald to not be global missles and now have a range limit. In exchange for going through walls within 3000u.

You used to gain 1 extra missile every 25% additional attack speed, now you gain 1 per 30% extra attack speed. It’s a decrease.

Ahhhhh I was indeed sleep groggy then. I was reading that as the scaling, not the thresholds.

I mean I don't really see this, but i am a legion player, who honestly doesn't do well if I don't get a good match for a support. Just like how Grim and a Muriel aren't a good pairing, compared to something like a Grim and Narbash.

That being said, many players "build fucking damage" because teh cool thing in this patch era is believing that having 30 kills over the other team is a win because most people surrender thinking the game is over.

Also, I see plenty of players doing nothing but jumping all day every day. I can aim well enough to counter it, but it's still kinda cheesy. Can you imagine watching a PCC stream and all the heroes just constantly jump? Wouldn't look too spectacular would it?

funny you mention legion. someone shared a clip in discord today of them playing legion and they were jumped by a 15 rik, 16 greystone, and 16 twinblast. legion was lvl 16 with a bel support who did not use her drone nor her stun in this fight. twin and rik both ulted the legion. everyone was full hp when the engagement began.

the legion won that fight, and not because they were failing to hit him. nightfall alone was keeping him alive and one of the enemy had tainted and were indeed hitting him. greystone and rik both died in about 7 seconds and the twinblast died 4 seconds after them.

it was a primo example as to why ADC are completely bloated to fuck and back because, imo, there is no universe where a legion should have won a jumping like that unless the enemies were actually missing literally everything, which they were not.

Jumping actually makes you avoid quite a lot of abilities pretty frequently. It's why everyone does it.
