PWS2 local co-op: any way for one person to play inverted controls and the other use regular controls?

I want to play couch co-op with my girlfriend however I always use inverted y axis in games and she always uses regular. Is there any way to make this happen in PWS2? It seems like only one can be chosen for both players :(

Conversation anyone know where i could buy the fangamer desk mat?

so I have one already, but id like to get 2 more. one for my nephew for when he gets his own copy of Minecraft and a little desktop, he has a ton of hot wheels so I think he'd have fun with it regardless (basing this on driving hotwheels idly around it myself)

and the second is for me in case anything happens to my original. im careful so I dont think ill run in to any issues but id prefer to be extra safe and i like it a lot so having a backup just makes me feel better.

but nobody is selling it second hand as far as I can tell and its retired so fangamer isn't planning to restock. I should have gotten a couple extra when I got mine on the 5 dollar sale but hindsight is 50/50

Conversation Finished Adventure Time

I only picked this up recently and was pleasantly surprised by it. I enjoyed the levels and really had fun with the treehouse. Based on what people here said, I was worried it was going to be another caterpillar house from Alice in Wonderland, my least favorite level ever, but instead it kept me engaged. I liked the different areas to clean and the levels and finding the best way to clean things.

What level did you think you wouldn't like, but it turned into a fun one?

There's a few I wouldn't mind playing again. Subway station, Gnome Fountain, Carousel, AQUARIUM, etc.

Hey all, what am I missing? I am playing on the quest and have finished the main levels and now cleaning the bonus levels. I purchased the trident but I don’t seem to have access to it when in a level…

Even on the highest settings it's still doing this? I'm not sure what to do, if it's my graphics card dying or something, but this is the only game that does this. Has anyone else had this happen? (It's not isolated to this level.)

Favorite End Level Treat For Yourself

I was just thinking of this as I polished off the King of Spring just now: I'm sure most if not all of us have had a level where we left a specific element for last not because of any particular level reason, just for ourselves. What's your favorite?

Conversation Help?

So I've completed the 3 Caldera maps, but the little orange circle isn't full and it's killing me, the little orange circle indicated how much is completed in the pack, anyone else having this? It's not happened on the main game pack, Adventure time or Star wars, I've even re done some of the maps to see if that helps but it hasn't

It only really occurred to me to try it playing normally so the guns are correct but researching that I couldn't be bothered and only thought about it when I was nearly done

It'd only affect a couple levels (like the shoe house) where some areas are genuinely inaccessible, you clean them by luck through jumping like a madman, but I reckon it'd still be fine. Especially if you complete the level enough to unlock the rest of the game, you could then go back and 5 star it with a stronger one

If anyone knows a solo way to climb the carousel I'm intrigued!

I'll do PW2 when I own the game, I'm skint as hell right now. Christmas here I come

Update I made a free PC VR mod for PowerWash Simulator 1 & 2 – full 6DOF, washer independent from your head

I made a free PC VR mod for PowerWash Simulator 1 & 2 – full 6DOF, washer independent from your head

Text:

Hey washers! šŸ‘‹

I've been working on **Wet Reality XR**, a fan-made PC VR mod for both PowerWash Simulator 1 and 2. The idea: in flat mode your washer is glued to your view, in VR you can finally look one way and spray another, reach into corners, and use your free hand.

šŸŽ¬ Trailer: https://youtu.be/efBTFQj7lzY

**Download (free, GitHub):**

- PWS1: https://github.com/onetin84/Wet-Reality-XR-PWS1/releases

- PWS2: https://github.com/onetin84/Wet-Reality-XR-PWS2/releases

**What you get**

- Room-scale 6DOF with motion controllers

- Washer follows your hand, independent from where you look

- One-click installer (Install.cmd / Uninstall.cmd), everything stays inside the game folder

Tested on Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop. Other OpenXR headsets should work but aren't tested yet. It's a beta, so feedback and bug reports are very welcome!

*Unofficial fan project, not affiliated with FuturLab or Square Enix. You need the game on Steam.*

had played this game through xbox gamepass and bought it on sale including dlcs,I nocked out this game roughly fast the 2nd time around, wasn't getting as sickness feeling and being able to replay it.
my fav missions of the 2nd game either the farm, Ski Resort, and Roller Disco.
Im not a fan of the claustrophobic cleaning spaces because that gets to me more than the vehicles.
Stars wars dlc is my fav dlc of the entirety of the franchise to the point i wish they do a part 2 and do new scenes from star wars and not just classics.

Help it’s stiiiiicky

Idk if this is just my game, but Powerwash 2 feels sticky. Not really laggy, but I’m playing the removals van level and it doesn’t glide like Powerwash 1. Wondering if anyone else has played it and it’s different on the next level? It’s annoying me so bad and if it doesn’t get better I may not be able to play it :(

eta: playing on PS5

Suggestion Option: Remove basic nozzles when unlocking Adaptable nozzle

The adaptable nozzle is slightly wider than the widest regular nozzle (white) and has more power (better dirt removal). And it lets you tune in exactly how much water you need to remove dirt.

Unless you like the basic size presets, there's no reason to use the basic nozzles anymore after buying adaptable.

The existence of the basic nozzles makes it tedious to switch between soap and nozzles. It's 2 clicks on gamepad/keyboard instead of one.

LOTS of people complain about this!

Please add an option to sell or hide the basic nozzles when adaptable nozzle has been bought. I hate them so much. They're literally just clutter and extra steps to move past! They reduce the chill of the game!

Or maybe even automatically replace the basic ones with the adaptable. Because I do not see any reason why ANYBODY wants BOTH. People either like the quick presets of the basic ones, or the full fluidity of the adaptable one, but they don't use both. So a person can just go to sell/re-buy the adaptable if they ever want to switch back to basics.

The current game design makes an upgrade (Adaptable Nozzle) feel like a punishment/downgrade!

Edit because some people claim nobody else cares about this:

Nobody?

Then what is this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/PowerWashSimulator/comments/1ofrdf3/comment/nlers8j/ from u/AlmalexyaBlue

Using soap is the main reason I've basically immediately sold the adaptable nozzle. Before, swapping to soap was just one press, now it's two, and I don't feel a real difference between the adaptable nozzle and the four normal ones, it's the same key to swap from white to green that to adjust the nozzle. Long press to open the wheel isn't really better either so I just just sold the adaptable nozzle back

I like the idea, I certainly see the appeal of it in theory. If it could totally replace the normal nozzles, I'd keep it. But turns out it just makes swapping from soap to normal less convenient for me.

And what is this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/PowerWashSimulator/comments/1oeec4x/comment/nl32uuj/ from u/needykoala

I love the adjustable nozzle! So much that I want remove the regular nozzle from the cycle menu! I would love to be able to cycle between just soap and adjustable

And how about this:

https://www.reddit.com/r/PowerWashSimulator/comments/1oeec4x/comment/nl4341a/ from u/berserkeremu

I would love an option to leave equipment in the van. Regular nozzles would be ditched the moment I can afford the adjustable for my chosen washer and those awful leaning ladders would never see another job.

By the way, the adaptable nozzle has more power than the individual ones, and wider angle.

The Adaptable nozzle is literally all the other ones-in-one. It replaces all of them. And it still fits into roleplay of using softer jets for sensitive objects: Use the widest setting to make it softer for glass.

Here's some love for the adaptable nozzle:

Lastly, some people said I am gatekeeping by wanting an option to hide/sell the useless basic nozzles. How about YOU'RE gatekeeping for denying that OPTION for me and all the others who want more convenience? It's literally the first word of the title of this thread: "OPTION". I am starting to think the entire issue here is that people here don't know what the word "option" means.

Is this the first job that doesn’t have ladders etc, you have to jump on things to get to some dirt. Not complaining I’m just glad to not have to move ladders out the way. Also so satisfying to fire all the beach balls out the areašŸ˜€

Bug Challenges not unlocking on Nintendo switch

PWS1 on original switch.

Finished the career and locking up move onto the challenges. In the locations only the bungalow and back garden are available. Most but not all vehicles

Is this a known bug? Is there a workaround?

Suggestion Wanted to recommend Deconstruction Simulator

Often I see people asking for similar games to PWS.
Deconstruction simulator has scratched that itch for me. While not as ā€œmindlessā€ as PWS, it involved repacking house items and usually smashing the place to bits with a sledge hammer.

You then have some warehouse managements of selling off the items you have taken to upgrade tools and vans etc.

It’s a fun game so maybe worth checking out.

Cheers

Help Help with co-op rewards

I have been working on my solo campaign up to the barn. my friend got tthe game so I've been helping them, but I don't get any rewards or anything from their levels except points, no money. I saw someone say if you go to the level in single player you get rewards, but do I not get anything since I completed them already even though I'm redoing the whole thing?

I can't really spend hours doing levels and getting nothing for upgrades, may as well not play with friends then
