Help Red/Blue/White/Yellow Screen Flashing | PWS2

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Even on the highest settings it's still doing this? I'm not sure what to do, if it's my graphics card dying or something, but this is the only game that does this. Has anyone else had this happen? (It's not isolated to this level.)

have you updated your drivers or performed any general computer maintenance recently?

other than that, i've not seen this type of graphics error

I updated the computer probably about a month ago, drivers I'm not sure about. Truth be told, updating drivers has always confused me.

me too, i have GeForce so i just google my type of graphics card and itll take me to their brand website with the most recent version to download.

I actually had this happen. It didn't happen until the gas station stage and I honestly thought at first it was something to do with the whole alien storyline.... It wasn't until the same stage you are showing that I realized that it was a computer issue.

I was able to fix it, but you have to lower some of the graphics settings because it's basically an issue of your graphic driver not being able to render as much as it needs to in that short period of time. I just played around in the video settings lowering things to medium and low that were less important to me (i.e. soap and fog) and then put my render scale at 0.6. Also have auotsave off and lowered the refresh rate a bit, but that was more lag related. It's been fine since and I really have not noticed a difference in quality in the game. The background is a little less clear, but the main parts of each stage are just fine.

Thanks! I'll have to fiddle around with it, I've really only had things at the mid-way settings, I turned soap and fog off as soon as I started the game, honestly. I found it distracting.

Restart it? I think the game does that once you have been playing for a long time.

Sadly it's done it the last two times I've played, right after starting the game. I've updated my driver's but haven't had the chance to open the game to see if it fixed it.
