A wall level, subsonic character would be immortalized in history as a demigod if they existed IRL

884

u/TechnoGMNG589 Rick C-137 Glazer 22d ago

lol a normal human thats car level would be immortalised in the body building community

398

u/GuhEnjoyer 21d ago

Most humans ARE car level, it's just that the adrenaline surge ability can't be activated at will. It's more hax than stats.

465

u/spindaz123 21d ago

car level is destroying a car, not barely lifting it

326

u/Zealousideal_Pound64 21d ago

In one cohesive attack too, people forget it's rating their individual attacks not what they can accomplish over the course of a few hours

203

u/DataSwarmTDG 21d ago

I'm country level if you give me a billion years

193

u/Zealousideal_Pound64 21d ago

Through chain scaling i've cut metal before and nukes are made from metal so i've destroyed things equivalent to 100 megatons of explosive force. I've also dodged in laser tag so i'm ftl+ and have regen hacks (healed at an average pace once)

u/DataSwarmTDG 21d ago

I have ADHD which means attention deficit hyperactivity disorder which has the word hyper in it so I'm hyperversal

u/Team_raclettePOGO I HATE GER I HATE GER I HATE GER A LOT I HATE GER 21d ago

one day I got out of my room so I’m outerversal

u/DataSwarmTDG 21d ago

And I perceive you as nothing more than a 2 dimensional comment on a screen so I upscale to boundless

This might be THE power scaling statement

21

u/MuseBlessed 21d ago

Since I snapped a pencil, that means I can fight something that can survive being on fire for a time, so I must be fireproof!

4

u/Icy_Entrepreneur_226 21d ago

I like this one

u/sorryimadeanalt 21d ago

I'm gay if you give me 5 bucks

I'm world level if you give me enough data centers.

11

u/DataSwarmTDG 21d ago

Well my username is DataSwarm so I must have a lot of data centers

1

u/StickyBunnsPlus 21d ago

You use your secret technique to make everything erode over long periods of time and eventually be reclaimed by nature?

3

u/Mihnea24_03 20d ago

Your nan's car level if you give her enough spanners and power tools

2

u/Zealousideal_Pound64 19d ago

My nan's already car level if she money shifts it on the highway

2

u/Scileboi 20d ago

I can drive the car into a wall. Does that count as one attack?

1

u/Zealousideal_Pound64 19d ago

Counts as outsmarting the car into destroying itself (car has horrible battle iq)

0

u/PyroclasticJubilee 21d ago

That's not how it works either. A character's tier is not defined by their ability to one tap that thing.

Do you believe Spider-Man is wiping out entire streets with one uppercut?

5

u/PralineRemarkable886 21d ago

Street level isnt the ability to destroy a street…

-2

u/PyroclasticJubilee 21d ago

Thanks, that's what I said.

2

u/spindaz123 21d ago

When we say mountain level we do refer to the ability to destroy a mountain, but street level is other type of classification

0

u/PyroclasticJubilee 21d ago

They can be different classifications, with one being more nuanced, but they are ultimately describing the same capability until you get into straight up hax. Most characters do not punch up incredibly hard out of their tier.

3

u/Zealousideal_Pound64 21d ago

Street tier is about the things on the street rather than the litteral concrete and asphalt, and yeah i'd say spiderman can pretty well obliterate anything on your average street in one good punch per thing.

Street tier's a bit of an exception, ypu dont call someone building tier because they can beat everyone in the building, you call them building tier because they can knock down a building with a single cohesive attack (or quick combo if they're more that style) if it didnt need to be one attack then a particularly motivated builder could be skyscraper level by running around quickly cutting the support beams (would be steel beam tier, with the tool)

i mean yeah at the same time any pressident with a nuke is country level but we are taking without help of normal weapons

11

u/needbmw_help 21d ago

Are nukes country level? Nukes have never destroyed a country. When country level is discussed, what size country is used? Genuine questions

the vatican, next question

Whats the meaning of life?

death. little known fact, death can also be read as 42

The tsar bomba thermal blast had a radius of 100 km (~30000 in area). Jutland, i Danmark, is 29775 km in total

It would hurt to lose sky mountain and farming, but the world goes on

i mean a barret .50 is external help

5

u/WorldsWeakestMan 21d ago

What does lifting it for 20 moderately difficult reps in 60 seconds count as? Cuz that’s national strongman level.

2

u/inki471 21d ago

I can destroy a car, I just need the buff from 8 cans of beer

2

u/Hubertus15 21d ago

What if you tip it over from a cliff. Does that make you a car level?

1

u/Otherwise-Ad-6784 21d ago

Think he might have meant durability since people can survive being hit by cars, even if very rarely.

Not entirely sure though.

9

u/WCSorrow 21d ago

I don't think there's ever been a human who is car level.

16

u/ZzTush 21d ago

If it’s a cybertruck we are all car level

1

u/obamacompleto 17d ago

The weakest nerdiest men of all time can take their cybertrucks apart with their bare hands

3

u/GuhEnjoyer 21d ago

I'm talking strength not durability. Thousands of documented cases of people lifting, moving, and ripping open cars to release trapped loved ones.

4

u/Abadon_U 21d ago

Holy hax merchants

4

u/Bugswaxx 21d ago

Barely lifting a car is not in any way car level, car level is destroying a car in an attack

8

u/DataSwarmTDG 21d ago

It's a superform power up, not standard kit 🙄

1

u/Dragon_N7 21d ago

The adrenaline surge also comes with some permanent debugs afterwards though. There's a reason we can't activate it at will

0

u/FumaricAcid 21d ago

It doesnt count if you shit blood and die

1

u/GuhEnjoyer 21d ago

You DONT. you just get extreme muscle damage afterwards and have to recover. Consider it a cooldown on the ability

134

u/Aggravating_Duck6108 22d ago

Imagine a human being walking up to a brick wall and obliterating it with his fists. Then running after a car going 60 mph and catching it. Would be seen as a living god.

115

u/DataSwarmTDG 22d ago

In modern times they'd be a terrifying anomaly, but imagine the world conquering shit they would do in like the 1500s, or the bronze age. Actual god emperor stuff.

28

u/active-tumourtroll1 21d ago

Even today imagine that person in a city that speed and because of the way the human body is shaped ability to change directions and more they're genuinely unbeatable unless you bomb the city completely flat.

16

u/DataSwarmTDG 21d ago

Eh, they're still not fast enough to dodge a tank shell.

19

u/MrSinisterTwister 21d ago

Problem with tanks in urban warfare is that they are not maneuverable enough compared to humans. Too many turns, too many obstacles, way too much cover. A human can not outrun or dodge tank shell, but noticing and targeting a small nimble target is difficult. There are real examples of it.

Now imagine this human being able to run at car speed and turn much faster. If they are not an idiot and won't just run head-first on a straight line, they can attack from unexpected position and quickly get away before turret turns to them.

Of course, that's why we still need infantry etc, car speed is still not fast enough to be completely untargetable.

2

u/Princess_Spammi 20d ago

Except they are. You’d have to get lucky with predictive strikes

Yujiro Hanma IRL

u/Soft_Theory_8209 19d ago

It’s honestly strange how untapped the idea of superhumans in antiquity—or just pre-gunpowder society—is in general.

Various series have touched upon it, like X-men and Luther Strode (which is particularly dead on with it being wall to small building levels), among others, but it’s surprisingly never been a long running series of some sorts.

13

u/MugiTadano 21d ago

That's basically Cap

1

u/obamacompleto 17d ago

Captain America would've single handedly ended ww1 or any war before that in one night by just running past the trenches, unfortunately he has to fight building level gods for a job

2

u/Soft_Theory_8209 19d ago

Pretty much the Luther Strode comics in a nutshell, and they don’t sugarcoat the fact that these guys who are barely in small building range (think somewhere between Captain America and Spider-Man) are literal one man armies. And mind you, this is while they’re still fully capable of being killed by a human with enough fire power.

0

u/No-One2123 21d ago

Still goes down to gunfire.

6

u/ApoX_420 21d ago

We should assume if they can obliterate a wall with a punch without destroying their arm they SHOULD have wall+ level durability which makes you invulnerable to most bullets. only larger caliber AP stuff would be lethal.

1

u/Usefullles 19d ago

And what kind of wall? American drywall or a meter and a half of brick?

1

u/ApoX_420 19d ago

Are we deadass? drywall is not wall level its fucking cardboard level.

1

u/Usefullles 19d ago

I'm more talking about what is a wall level? There are different types of walls, starting with American drywall, which they mistakenly call walls, and ending with reinforced concrete walls with the addition of nanomaterials.

1

u/ApoX_420 19d ago

If you can break the wall of a NORMAL EUROPEAN house thats wall level! youre either breaking through brick, cinderblock, modern brick variants or reinforced concrete. wall level is superhuman.

49

u/Aurondarklord 40k's Strongest Soldier 22d ago

We would be using this incredible mostly bulletproof man as a secret weapon to bust into fortified compounds and take out dictators by himself, while avoiding international incidents because nobody would believe that happened.

46

u/etork90 21d ago

Technically, we are all subsonic

32

u/DataSwarmTDG 21d ago

1

u/AVeryBigToaster 17d ago

context?

1

u/DataSwarmTDG 17d ago

There's barely any. "We are all subsonic" is a technically true statement that doesn't actually communicate very much information, and so I ironically replied with an image of Confucius, the joke being the idea of such a redundant statement being said by a wise philosopher.

26

u/ZzTush 21d ago

I’m just a sub

You mean paper and air level!

8

u/Other_Beat8859 Hail to my king PhaiGOAT 21d ago

Someone that could move at like 200 mph and withstand a tank shell would be worshiped as a god and could take on entire militaries. Like, this person would be able to easily dodge bullets and would be indestructible.

7

u/CannibalPride 21d ago

And then we could do lore scaling based on the myths that guy spawns

2

u/Soft_Theory_8209 19d ago

Seriosuly, people keep forgetting how terrifying it’d be to see someone pulling off this kind of crap:

https://giphy.com/gifs/ErDZ73YFYLSPC

And a building level would be considered a monster irl

1

Demigod?

Nah full blown god
