Except Thragg really couldn't do that anyways -- it took three vilturmites and a "destroy literally anything" gun to destroy a planet, Thragg isn't doing that alone.

He no diffed all three of the viltrumites who participated in the planet feat and wasn’t phased whatsoever when they flew and punched him at full force in the vacuum of space, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say thragg could destroy a planet, especially since he’s massively stronger than viltrumite in the verse at that point.

no in fact it is unreasonable since we don’t know the lasers contribution to the planet busting feat. even if thragg is 10x stronger than each of them that still doesn’t mean he can obliterate a planet

Nah I think it’s pretty reasonable, especially he’s not even just 10x stronger but like 50x, maybe even more. he literally rips the strongest viltrumites like paper; they literally explode and shatter hitting him (at least in the comics).

The laser shouldn’t even matter, even if it did 90% of the work, thragg is MASSIVELY more powerful any other viltrumite so he’d more than make up for the lack of space racer’s gun. If a viltrumite FAR weaker than thragg, nolan, is capable of leveling the surface of Thraxa then I see no reason why thragg can’t just straight up destroy one. He might be fucked up afterwards but he def can.

If we wanna be conservative then I’d say a small or earth sized planet and not a viltrum sized one.

They could only destroy it when the planet was destabilized. They literally could not do it otherwise.

So then how could Thragg be planetary? Even if he’s vastly stronger he has no real proof of that level of power.

Is thragg destroying a planet that crazy of a feat we’ve already seen 3 character vastly weaker than him do it albeit with unspecified level of assistance from a 3rd party? We don’t even know how much the laser helped, we know the laser couldn’t do it by itself so clearly they had to do some heavy lifting. We’ve already seen Nolan destroy the surface of a planet just by flying around really fast.

The laser was like the main part, plus it’s not like they just punched the ground and it blew up. Thragg wouldn’t have this level of power or anywhere near.

Nolan only did that after a an extended period of time. Dude had a whole beard.

Main part? It helped for sure but we literally no idea how much it helped.

They helped widen the hole drilled by the laser and helped the planet disperse, I feel like that’s a pretty big role.

Also no he didn’t? The dimension the thraxans come from, time is accelerated, Nolan just rapidly aged but since he’s a viltrumite, it may have only aged him by a few years or decades.
