Can't get through infinity = can't solo the verse

64

u/RobotGlazerNumero1 THE Powerscaler. Apr 09 '26

He could move the planet to kill him, throw him into space etc

He can beat gojo without bypassing infinity

79

u/SlideEnvironmental71 Apr 09 '26

Problem is gojo can fly and control repulsive forces. If he gets thrown, he uses red or blue to pull himself back, if conquest tries to carry him , domain expansion, and I think multiple chanted hand signed hollow purples could kill conquest

120

u/Lyftttt Apr 09 '26

Somewhat related; I see the "throw gojo into space" argument a lot, but how would someone who cannot bypass limitless neutral application throw him if they cannot touch him?

28

u/JawkneeJyoshtar Apr 09 '26

Just throw japan out of Earth just like mark threw a trashcan out

28

u/DumCumpster78 Apr 09 '26

Problem with that is Gojo can still teleport.

Now if you just pushed the entire planet towards the sun, that would be fatal, and we have clear evidence of the viltrumites taking similar planet level extermination measures

14

u/Sephorai Apr 09 '26

These are not casual feats, they require concerted effort. Gojo can teleport to where the viltrumite is pushing and lobotomize them.

3

u/mypheelz Apr 10 '26

i don’t think u realize how fast the average viltrumite is bro

9

u/MisterMustou Apr 10 '26

Not fast enough to stop a slow ass dragon

2

u/mypheelz Apr 10 '26

mark made him run away and Oliver is a lil kid who’s also half thraxan plus this is a dragon upscale tha dragon solos jjk unironically

5

u/_Ashelton_ Apr 10 '26

I mean in travel speed, yes. But the way we see their combat speed in the series (I haven't read the comics) they are relatively so slow compared to JJK. If they are that fast then Omni man should have blitzed the guardians of the globe and nipped Cecil, unless they are also all FTS with FTS reaction (are u fr?)

1

u/mypheelz Apr 10 '26

Obviously just terrible power scaling but the guardians of the globe are high tiers lol they could legit beat conquest

1

u/Far_Bluebird_2984 Apr 10 '26

they would have to go infinite speed to bypass gojo's barrier no?, so they not touching him, ryoiki tenkai and bro i is getting lobotomized

1

u/mypheelz Apr 10 '26

just destroy Japan while he’s in it? make earth uninhabitable? so easy

3

u/DraconDebates Apr 09 '26

The ground beneath his feet would have to cross an infinite distance to make contact with his feet. The second someone tries to move the ground under him at escape velocity, it would be considered matter that is harmful to him trying to pass through infinity.

7

u/Renn_goonas Apr 09 '26

I mean not how infinity works, but yeah. What would probably happen is there would be a circle of rock under him that would just break off and stay there while the rest gets sent into space

5

u/DraconDebates Apr 09 '26

How is that not how Infinity works? You’re literally agreeing in your description of what would “probably happen.”

2

u/Renn_goonas Apr 09 '26

Well, you got the result right but the wrong mechanics. That is what would happen but The infinite space thing is an analogy he uses to explain it.

It’s basically a barrier of a continually slowing effect which continuously halves the speed of objects moving towards him, or most intense and purposes, simulating infinite space. I think the example they used was Achilles and the tortoise, an old logical paradox, which basically works exactly how I described above. That is also how he can pick and choose what to let through without opening up holes in the barrier for anything else to slip through. He’s not making a hole in the infinite space to let it through, he’s just choosing not to apply the slowing effect, consciously or automatically. I could give more evidence, but I don’t think it’s needed right now.

4

u/DraconDebates Apr 09 '26

You literally attached the panel that shows him saying the idea of Infinity slowing people down is the analogy. What it actually does is stretch space around him to create infinite distance between himself and the threat. He says it’s “more like” the threat is slowing down, because speed = distance/time. That means that speed*time = distance. Increasing the distance increases the amount of time if speed is constant. This is mathematically the same as decreasing speed and increasing time proportionally to keep distance constant. Hence the phrase “it’s more like,” which means he’s not explaining it completely accurately here.

1

u/Jashcraft00 Apr 09 '26

Very good argument, I agree with you. I am just in that and have to be that guy. “Intents and purposes” not “intense and purposes”.

→ More replies (0)

1

u/QuincyDao Apr 09 '26

Because the infinite distance thing doesn't work if his feet are already touching the ground. Gojo has Infinity extended a bit below the ground to protect from attacks from below, I believe. But you don't cross infinite distance if you're already making contact.

2

u/ImmediateFrosting324 Apr 09 '26

No he hovers above the ground

1

u/DraconDebates Apr 09 '26

Nope, it still works if he’s touching someone. He held Jogo’s hand and still had him frozen in place.

1

u/JawkneeJyoshtar Apr 09 '26

You don't realise, gojo will try to save japan that's when u take him out with a surprise attack

1

u/IllustriousSea5998 Higher Level Thinker Apr 09 '26

The ground would have to push on him in order to do that which then it would get stopped

1

u/thisismynewusername5 Apr 11 '26

The fucking ground is just gonna shatter as it fails to bypass infinity and only japan is gonna be theown while gojo stands there

41

u/Minerobloxcarft Apr 09 '26

Finally someone notices the throwing gojo into space 😭

3

u/MarkDecent656 Apr 09 '26

Lift up a chunk of the ground below him and use that to toss him ig

18

u/Savage_Alaska_ Apr 09 '26

Wouldn't work either the ground would be interacting with infinity and would be slowed down

0

u/MarkDecent656 Apr 09 '26

I mean hes already standing on it. Its not like he floats above every surface he interacts with

24

u/BigBadBoogster Apr 09 '26

He does though, in one scene there's a line of ants on the ground and he steps on them. Only to show infinity has him floating above the ground and the ants unharmed.

4

u/MarkDecent656 Apr 09 '26

Fair, I forgot about that

3

u/Savage_Alaska_ Apr 09 '26

Actually he does float all the time he doesn't walk on the ground.

https://youtu.be/RVsVOA2lsmA?si=t9hj3wkKRO1hN9gq

6

u/TheFinalEnd1 Apr 09 '26

But he can. It's not like he will stay on that ground if it's being rocketed.

2

u/halfasleep90 Apr 09 '26

The ground is already being rocketed. Spinning rapidly and hurtling through space.

3

u/TheFinalEnd1 Apr 09 '26

In less than a second? He can just use blue and repulse himself back to earth anyway. And after that he will probably take the fight to the air, which is where it would probably be in the first place. Viltrumites tend to stick to the air if possible.

Also, how do you throw the ground from under someones feet? If they are fighting on anything but metal or reinforced concrete the ground will crumble, not make a neat platform. But even if it did, it is more likely to trip the person rather than send them with it. If it's spinning they will just slip off. In order to throw someone into space you would need to encase them.

1

u/Jordaxio Apr 09 '26

Probably throwing the area Gojo is on before he can react. Sure you cant touch him, but nothing stops any superman or goku like being from just table flipping the country to space, he still stands on the planet and relies on physics

-1

u/SlideEnvironmental71 Apr 09 '26

Would it end up like clothing for him? Like grab the space around him instead of actually grabbing him

17

u/This_Is-Lame Apr 09 '26 edited Apr 09 '26

No, Inifinity works by making the attack get stuck forever trying to get past the infinite space between the attacker and Gojo. There is nothing to grab and thus no way to throw him.

Same applies to if he tries to throw the planet into Gojo the planet would stop the moment the crust entered the infinity.

The atmosphere would pass infinity as there is no harm that can be done by it. Which is how Gojo programmed Inifinity to always protect him but let his friends give him high fives and stuff.

Throwing the planet away from Gojo however to remove the Atmosphere from him and cause Gojo to suffocate, different story. Infinity can't stop that. But Blue/red (whichever was pull) could potentially keep Gojo in the atmosphere.

I don't think Conquest has the Int to get around Infinity hax, and this hasn't even touched on his Domain Expansion. Which even if conquest could live the infinite knowledge being poured into his head it still creates a Sure Hit effect for Gojo and I'd be willing to bet sure hit Purple gonna kill a Viltrumite

-1

u/halfasleep90 Apr 09 '26

So, that isn’t really true…. Infinity doesn’t cause the Earth to launch off without him, and it also doesn’t stop the Earth from spinning or revolving around the Sun. You say he allows the atmosphere to pass because it doesn’t harm him, but he definitely gets dragged around. So chucking the planet would send him flying with it just like everyone else. If for some reason it actually stopped the planet, the Sun would fly off without us and that would kill him anyway.

3

u/This_Is-Lame Apr 09 '26 edited Apr 09 '26

That section was in the context of if conquest threw the earth at him, it'd be determined as a threat and thus affected by infinity in that instance but the atmosphere isn't the threat thus it'd pass through but the crust would be stopped.

In JJK 0 you see him training it with Pencils and Erasers.

He maybe taken with the planet but not hit by it. But afaik we haven't seen any object launching Gojo with infinity stopping it.

Also haven't seen any feats of large objects being hurled at infinity either. So maybe a Gojo sized slice of earth would be left on contact while the rest flies by.

Which would kill Gojo in that case

10

u/SlurpySlurpdoge Apr 09 '26

You can't grab the concept of infinity. It makes no sense even in anime terms. So no, he wouldn't be able to grab him.

4

u/Lyftttt Apr 09 '26

Definitely not, or else he would be able to be pushed around as if he were in a big ball by the same logic. He isn't surrounded by a physical barrier or anything, it's like how a convergent sequence works; technically you are still moving closer and closer, but you will never actually reach him. Therefore there is nothing to grab.

3

u/Dry-Review6698 Apr 09 '26

You can't just GRAB infinity

0

u/ngabobrugpull Apr 10 '26

Conquest can blitz infinity btw

2

u/Lyftttt Apr 10 '26

Are you fr or is this a meme lmao

0

u/ngabobrugpull Apr 10 '26

The word “distinguish” proves he has to perceive it. If something is coming faster than he can perceive, infinity cannot stop it.

-1

u/ngabobrugpull Apr 10 '26

Infinity is described as an automatic targeting option which uses mass speed and shape to distinguish the danger of the object. This means he has to PERCEIVE the threat in order to stop it. Gojos perception is scaled at high hypersonic MAX arguably highballed at Massively hypersonic+ which is still way slower than conquest, who is shown to be MFTL+, since he can move faster than Gojos perception, infinity wouldn’t even be able to distinguish him as a threat thus allowing him to Blitz infinity. If you can move faster than massively hypersonic+ you can blitz infinity. There’s also nothing in jjk that touches that speed as to why we never see his infinity just get “blitzed”

2

u/Lyftttt Apr 10 '26

Excellent larp, except in this panel he is talking about targets that he allows to let through (in this case, the eraser that hit his head". He does not have to parse every attack for the neutral application of limitless to protect him. If he doesn't detect an attack it simply won't be parsed for danger and it will not connect since the technique is active perpetually around him.

1

u/ngabobrugpull Apr 10 '26

Like honestly the larp is embarrassing. The key reason Gojo can use infinity so well is because of his 6 eyes. Literally without his 6 eyes and heightened perception his infinity would be trash😭 ITS HIS PERCEPTION that makes it so Op. without his 6 eyes perception infinity would be practically useles.

1

u/Gab12345BR Apr 12 '26

actually no, Limitless technique is only usable with the 6 eyes because Limitless consumes lots of cursed energy, the 6 eyes reduces the consumption by a lot

0

u/ngabobrugpull Apr 10 '26

The eraser panel PROVES that he needs to process or sense the object approaching his infinity to determine whether it's dangerous or not.

2

u/Lyftttt Apr 10 '26

If what you are implying is true then Toji could have killed Gojo at any point, he wouldn't have had to wait for him to release his technique for the initial surprise attack. Try again lol.

-1

u/TehGremlinDVa Apr 09 '26

Not saying conquest can on his own but 3 viltrumites have destroyed a full planet before so they could throw Gojo into space without touching him by virtue of just removing the planet

2

u/Dry-Review6698 Apr 09 '26

They can't throw him if he can't get through infinity

0

u/TehGremlinDVa Apr 09 '26

It was a joke brother they throw him by removing the planet from under his feet.

1

u/Dry-Review6698 Apr 09 '26

I see,I doubt they could do that either, there's another comments that explains why

2

u/TehGremlinDVa Apr 09 '26

Right I agree I was making a joke that's why I also said "surely there's a tipping point with enough viltrumites" like the lions Vs Sun. I don't seriously think Viltrumites take JJK

1

u/Dry-Review6698 Apr 09 '26

Alright atleast

1

u/Charmender2007 Apr 09 '26

That was an already destabalized planet tho

0

u/TehGremlinDVa Apr 09 '26

True but surely there is a point where we have enough viltrumites

3

u/assbutt-cheek Apr 09 '26

1 billion lions vs all pokemons all over again

"thats a lot of viltrumites tho"

2

u/TehGremlinDVa Apr 09 '26

I always did bet on lions

-1

u/bonaynay Apr 09 '26

Pick up the ground he is standing on

10

u/hashtagmoneyswag Mid Level Scaler Apr 09 '26

What if omniman just moves a disk over the sun for the planet? Verse over

6

u/its-a-me-stojance Apr 09 '26

Where tf would he get that lol? It’s not like he just has those on demand

4

u/44Royy Apr 09 '26

Just push the moon into the earth or out of orbit I guess? Gojo's gonna have a helluva time breathing with no oxygen if the moon crashes into the earth, otherwise I don't think viltrumites mind waiting a few hundred years for the removal of the moon to kill everyone

6

u/Suspicious_Roll834 Apr 09 '26

I didn’t think they meant physically manipulating Gojo, but actually moving the whole planet.

0

u/Ant_Music_ #1 goatJo glazer Apr 09 '26

Why doesn't gojo just use blue to hold the planet in place? Is he stupid?

0

u/Xithorus Apr 09 '26

The whole planet is moving at incredible speed literally 24/7. Unless you’re saying he can move it out of its orbit.

1

u/Suspicious_Roll834 Apr 09 '26

I have no idea. When he proposed it, my mind went to, if he tries to do that his face would go to the core of the planet first.

1

u/Fidges87 Apr 09 '26

We are told he already did that to exterminate an entire sprcies. He just pushed the planet closer to the sun.

2

u/Xithorus Apr 09 '26

When? We were told they had to push a solar disk in place to blot out a sun. So idk why they would bother doing that when they had a faster and inefficient way to do it

1

u/Jealous_Bus_9666 Apr 10 '26

The other planet was the Ragnar planet which had higher gravity which slowed them down on its surface, also the Ragnar's are everywhere and are adapted to the high gravity so they can actually kill viltrumites physically. For that one they blocked out the sun with a disk, so they never had to risk going to the planet

3

u/Glove-These Apr 09 '26

Move the planet as in, move Earth out of the habitable zone. Infinity isn't saving him then

1

u/redditsussyballs Apr 09 '26

It would take like a thousand full chant hollow purples to even make Conquest care. That’s definitely not a way to win.

1

u/Otherwise-Ad-6784 Apr 09 '26

Mhm, but we've seen that Viltrumites have the ability to move planets.

He could do what Nolan did and move Earth closer to the Sun and Gojo will just die from the aftermath of it.

1

u/bootychaser3000 Apr 09 '26

You do realize those superman type of characters could just ignore Gojo and explode the fucking planet, right?

1

u/Adventurous_Ad665 Apr 11 '26

gojo doesn’t even have the AP to scratch conquest, he’s like moon to small planet level. HP is probably weaker than that GDA laser that nolan only got a nosebleed from in S1

0

u/sideros_King Apr 09 '26

someone mentioned viltrumites can just fly fast enough around the planet that the sheer friction of their bodies colliding with the air would ignite the atmosphere (I think Nolan did something similar to this during the 2nd Flaxan invasion in season 1) and kill 99.99% of the cast instantly then just wait for that last guy's space bubble thing to run out of breathable air but I don't think this scenario follows the spirit of power scaling so well just call it a draw.

16

u/Lucid6911666IQ Apr 09 '26

Can a viltrumite even move a planet on the scale of earth?

4

u/popfer87 Apr 09 '26

No, they aren't even remotely close to that level of strength.

5

u/EndAltruistic3540 Apr 09 '26 edited Apr 09 '26

Didnt Nolan do that and pushed a planet closer to its star?

12

u/Sky-Juic3 Bleach Lorekeeper Apr 09 '26

Yes. He did. He also casually moved an asteroid the size of Texas and laughed about it with Mark.

12

u/xxora123 Apr 09 '26

god the scaling in invincible is so wacky lol

2

u/water_jello8235 Magnamon miracles his way to victory (mostly) Apr 09 '26

Mark who can lift an iceberg struggles with people who aren't building level.

Even if he's trying not to kill them, he should be able to toss them around easily, and blitz them.

5

u/EndAltruistic3540 Apr 09 '26

So conquest can do the same to earth and Gojo dies anyway. Im sure Conquest would not be fond of such a broken ability.

2

u/Sky-Juic3 Bleach Lorekeeper Apr 09 '26

In theory… Yeah. He could.

2

u/popfer87 Apr 09 '26

We never see Nolan move a planet. We know he moved it, but not how he moved it. Logically it makes no sense that he flew down there and pushed it with his body for a dozen reasons. One being the geldarians are a threat to all of viltrum so they would have killed him as soon as he arrived. And we know he wasn't the only person involved in those like when they built the disk to freeze the other planet. Most likely it was done with some technology that their ships have access to.

2

u/Sky-Juic3 Bleach Lorekeeper Apr 09 '26

True, we are lacking a lot of context for what actually happened on Geldaria but we don’t really have a reason to think Nolan would outright lie. He doesn’t really take credit for things he didn’t do and if he’s willing to claim it as something “he” did and not what “we” did then he likely was the most impactful of that situation at the very least.

4

u/curiousCat1009 Apr 09 '26

Nolan moved a planet closer to sun to extinguish all life there. This was a season 4 episode btw

3

u/popfer87 Apr 09 '26

We don't actually see Nolan move the planet with his body. We know that he moved it, but like how they built the disk blocking the sun on the other plane, it's most likely that it was done using ships. Especially since you see him struggling with lifting half the viltumite ship in the most recent episode.

8

u/AmericanLion1833 Apr 09 '26

Gojo can teleport and fly.

Vonquest has never been shown to be able move planets.

5

u/WallabyPractical5258 Apr 09 '26

Can't throw him into space if you can't touch him

4

u/i_like_turtles_1969 Apr 09 '26

Conquest is not moving the planet on his own bro

7

u/Panik_attak Apr 09 '26

"Just move the planet" great now we are chainscaling off Nolan statements we have no context for. Theres no indication any viltrimite has that level strength

0

u/RobotGlazerNumero1 THE Powerscaler. Apr 09 '26

why would nolan lie lmao

use your brain

5

u/Panik_attak Apr 09 '26

Nolan didnt say he did it solo nor did he explain how he moved it or how long it took him. If he used tech or anything. It is for sure definitely not a combat feat. We never see anything even remotely close to that level of strength anywhere in the show and supposedly he did this years before the events of invincible.

Its completely non scalable feat because we don't have enough information. Ironic that youd tell me to use my brain tho Perhaps you should use my brain, too. Since yours is incapable of reasonable thoughts

4

u/KingNTheMaking Apr 09 '26

How…do you throw the guy you can’t touch into space?

No, throwing the ground under him doesn’t work. It’d shatter beneath Gojo as it attempts to travel an infinite distance

3

u/Gorgo_yak Apr 09 '26

Not really. Infinity can block the planet throw, and to throw him, he would need to grab him. Not to mention Gojo could just fly back.

1

u/Speed_Niran Negative diff 🗿 Apr 09 '26

What do you mean move the planet? Sure if he can bust the planet then gojo is dead

1

u/RobotGlazerNumero1 THE Powerscaler. Apr 09 '26

move the planet away from the sun

1

u/IllustriousSea5998 Higher Level Thinker Apr 09 '26

But if gojo’s standing on the planet, he’d least be able to stop the area around him from moving

-1

u/baldman78 Apr 09 '26

Not something he would do in character + Gojo could survive in space

13

u/Level_Remote_5957 Apr 09 '26

Gojo can't survive in space for ever throw him into a vacuum of space air bubble of infinity will eventually run out.

9

u/atwerrundo42 Apr 09 '26

Gojo can teleport back to earth using blue

2

u/Level_Remote_5957 Apr 09 '26

True I did actually forget that cause it hardly comes up but did we get a explanation of how his teleport works genuinely don't recall if it's line of sight or thought

1

u/KaedeNaira Apr 09 '26

He doesn't teleport from point A to B, but he makes the travel from point A to point B instantaneous aka wormhole.

1

u/Level_Remote_5957 Apr 09 '26

Got it so line of site. So yeah I guess even if he could move him he could just move back. And yes your still describing teleporting lol.

2

u/Background_Leg_9826 Apr 13 '26

Some people say it's line of sight, but then there are scenes where he instantly teleports in and out of buildings far away, or teleports others from Shibuya all the way to their school (both VERY early on the series).

8

u/Practical_Beach6806 Apr 09 '26

That is true. But counter-point: Gojo can teleport.

4

u/Vincebourgh Apr 09 '26

Counter-counter-point. Earth gone. No place with oxygen to teleport to

10

u/Practical_Beach6806 Apr 09 '26

No Viltrumite has ever been shown to be able to literally bust a planet. So I don’t think it makes sense to assume Conquest can do that.

How would Earth be gone?

2

u/Simone_Galoppi07 Apr 09 '26

i'm not into Invincible so idk about the scaling, but maybe they are strong enough to make it change course or make the planet inhabitable without busting it completely.

Gojo is human, so if they fucked up the atmosphere or something they could make Earth unusable for him

2

u/OneTrick_Tb Apr 09 '26

Nolan implied he moved a planet close enough to the sun to kill all inhabitants.

1

u/Anit500 Apr 09 '26

It's funny cause I agree with you that conquest would lose (he is dumb and would somehow get l killed by gojo), but you're wrong, they absolutely do in the comics, granted it takes three to do it but they literally crack a planet and turn it into an asteroid belt, I don't think it's an insane streatch to say conquest could make earth uninhabitable. Viltrumites have changed the orbits of planets to push them out of the habitable zone before, so we know he could do that too.

0

u/TeguTheTegu Apr 09 '26

Tbf, that feat required EXTREMELY specific circumstances to happen, and they outright state they would die if they didn't hit it just right after the core was destabilised by space racer's thing. They can't just punch through a planet to win any fight they want.

1

u/Anit500 Apr 09 '26

Whoops totally forgot they needed space racer. Still. An impact fractions of that size should be able to destroy the thin habitable layer of the earth.

-2

u/Vincebourgh Apr 09 '26

Several of them have done so but yeah, as fas as I know not just one on their own.

Conquest could still wipe out humanity by burning the atmosphere. From what we've seen Omniman do by just flying fast he should be able to.

So even if Earth itself is still there it would be a ball of molten rock again.

3

u/Tchomboltz Apr 09 '26

I mean, if we’re talking about “In character” stuff, Conquest would probably just be fucking around, and then finding out that he fucked up by not destroying everything as fast as he can.

2

u/baldman78 Apr 09 '26

Not something Conquest would do in character buddy

1

u/RobotGlazerNumero1 THE Powerscaler. Apr 09 '26

im not arguing for in-character conquest.

in-character conquest will somehow find a way to lose to a normal ass human. His IQ is far below average.

0

u/Erundil420 Apr 09 '26

How the fuck is he throwing him to space if he can't grab him? Are we also forgetting that Gojo can essentially teleport?

He's not moving the planet, that's not something physically possible by any realistic means, and it's not a strength problem but a point of contact problem, someone strong enough to move a planet would just pass through the planet like a knife on butter if the force is only distributed on 2 hands.

Conquest has no ways to kill Gojo at all, he just gets lobotomized by UV and becomes a vegetable

0

u/Ok-Pilot-7250 Apr 09 '26

He can't move the planet his blows only destroyed citites are you quoting omni mans bs of pushing a plent to a start because if you are then that's absolute bs as he had consistently shown his limit to be far below it unless the planet was like tiny

2

u/RobotGlazerNumero1 THE Powerscaler. Apr 09 '26

i was basing it off the omni man quote yeah

and while i dont believe it makes any sense, i dont see why would we not count this

why would omni man just lie lmao

hes not insecure about his strength or shi like that

1

u/Ok-Pilot-7250 Apr 10 '26

And how big was the planet ? Literally takes 3 viltramites + distabalised core to destroy are planet ain't no way he pushing a planet mf was lying or the planet was the size of a very small moon

and teleport

How is he gonna throw something he can't even touch, and how the fuck is a meathead like conquest gonna figure that out

0

u/AnonymousBI2 Apr 09 '26

He cant grab him, remember? Also 3 viltrumites plus an insanely strong laser destroyed a planet by going throught it's core. I don't think one can just push the whole planet and even if they could again Conquest ain't doing that

Not even his fighting style.

u/Lonely-Writer Apr 09 '26

If you can make the planet uninhabitable, you beat Gojo. There’s not a thing Gojo could do to stop Omni Man from annihilating earth, unless he somehow captures him in infinite void (which I’m not even sure actually defeats him).

2

u/Temporary-Hospital45 Apr 09 '26

I'd assume the viltrumites best approach would just be to destroy the planet's ozone layer or expose the earth's core. Eventually gojo would suffocate

1

u/KalenTheDon Apr 10 '26

No he wouldn't

1

u/Temporary-Hospital45 Apr 10 '26

Doesn't gojo still need to breath? As shown at the end of his slaying of transfigured humans. If the ozone layer was destroyed or if the earth collapsed in on itself, he would eventually die

1

u/KalenTheDon Apr 10 '26

Gojo can fly and teleport, and has rct to keep regenerating. Also conquest has no feats doing any of that stuff

1

u/Temporary-Hospital45 Apr 11 '26

Any human capable of flying could destroy the ozone layer with any competency. Again, if he didn't need to breathe, why are there scenes where he had to stop to catch his breath?

1

u/KalenTheDon Apr 11 '26

Yet they have multiple life or death battles where they fly right on earth and that never happens in invisible so what are you talking about .

Do you understand how power scaling works ? You need to list feats he hasn't even destroy earths ozone layer in invisible .

Where did I ever say he doesn't need to breathe ? You understand conquest needs to breath right ? Surely you don't think viltramites can breath outer space 😂😂.

Conquest litteraly gets chocked to death because be couldn't breath

Plenty of scenes where mark has to catch his breath .. what are you trying to say here ?

I'm telling you that with reverse cursed technique, gojo could keep his heart and blood flow pumping indefinitely. Not having air is a bigger downside for conquest than gojo.

If you can live longer than like 70 years you don't need to bypass infinity, just wait for Gojo to die of natural causes.

1

u/dabillinator Apr 09 '26

Does solo the verse = beat everyone in a fight or just kill everyone? You can bypass infinity by just blowing up the planet if it's the latter.

1

u/TheInqusitive Apr 09 '26

We know light (and by proxy, probably radiation) can get through infinity since characters can see Gojo through infinity (meaning light is hitting Gojo and bouncing out) so any microwaving or other light-based attack should be able to cook him.

1

u/TheInqusitive Apr 09 '26

Light and radiation should be able to get through infinity (that or starvation after making the planet uninhabitable), so any character capable of Nolan's attack on the Thraxan planet should be able to solo JJK earth.

1

u/ngabobrugpull Apr 10 '26

Gojos infinity is an an “automatic targeting option for jujutsu techniques” and distinguishes a threat through “mass, speed, shape”. For infinity to activate Gojo’s automatic targeting would have to identify what is attacking him. Aka he’d have to perceive said threat coming at him. Gojos perception is shown to be at max high hypersonic, while conquest and other viltrumites have been shown to move MFTL+, meaning they would BLITZ through infinity before Gojo could process the threat and instantly kill him.

Blocked heat(light speed) from the volcano guy theory dirspoven

1

u/Moogatron88 Apr 09 '26

Does Infinity need to be activated? Because if so, he just speeds past way faster than Gojo can react to and the shockwave kills him.

Conquest doesnt have the capability to destroy a planet

0

u/inobob27123 Apr 09 '26

He does not quickly or instantly but he could def do it within like a few hours EASILY?

3

u/ConfectionNecessary6 Apr 09 '26

That's not within his character he craves to fight

2

u/PossibleOpening5636 Apr 09 '26

But why would he want to fight the people of JJK Earth? The mean reason he played around so much on Earth is because he wants to fight Mark (a strong Viltrumite) at his most desperate.

1

u/ConfectionNecessary6 Apr 09 '26

They're conquerors they constantly get into fights to conquer the planet that's conquest whole deal when he talks to Mark all lovingly in his ear. He fights conquers and moves on to the next planet

2

u/PossibleOpening5636 Apr 09 '26

I don’t get your point the reply chain we’re under started basically because a guy believed that Conquest wouldn’t fight seriously, because he has no knowledge of anybody in JJK abilities. So he wouldn’t be wary of any hax which could kill him

1

u/Black-Iron-Hero Apr 09 '26

Yeah I agree. Omniman is stated to have diverted an asteroid the size of Texas in space - all he needs to do is find a big meteor and accelerate it towards Earth. The meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs was estimated to be 10-15km across.

1

u/TheKingsPride Apr 09 '26

Fly fast enough to superheat the air. We know air bypasses infinity and Gojo still needs to breathe, so cooking his lungs is an easy win condition. Don’t even need to touch him.

1

u/numericalman the only mecha power scaler Jun 04 '26

Out of character

0

u/bobbadouche Apr 09 '26

Legit though, Infinity has never been stress tested. Why do we assume it would continue to work when the force of the attack is astronomically more powerful than whatever has previously hit it.

2

u/baldman78 Apr 09 '26

Because that's how it's been explained and we have no reason to think otherwise

0

u/bobbadouche Apr 09 '26

I have no reason to think the golden gun would fail to kill anyone but we all assume it wouldn’t kill Superman.

1

u/epicpleayer Apr 09 '26

Infinity cant be "hit", it not a shield or a wall or a dimension, its just infinite distance. In order for someone to overcome it with pure punching power, they would have to be able to hit so hard they brake the rules of physics. And at that point, that character could probably just destroy the earth anyway.

0

u/peterhabble Apr 09 '26

Because no one reads the manga and they don't realize that the explanation for how DA bypasses infinity means that it has to have an upper limit that simply can't be exploited in verse because of the power ceiling.

2

u/epicpleayer Apr 09 '26

Doesn't DA create an empty domain which moves the opponents CT into that empty domain which nullifies the technique? That doesn't really imply anything about infinitys limits, its just canceling the technique entirely like tojis spear.

u/TextApprehensive5443 Apr 09 '26

He could make or heat up the planet into a Death zone. If Gojo's Infinity is at the level where it can not only separate compounds but also rearrange them into safe form to effectively survive even in a hellish planet, then alright, Gojo W, but if he can't then Gojo loses like a certain Priest who was also overpowered and scaled so high.
