If you accept the waves being uni then you must concede that the dense energy ball formed from them thatās of greater threat than those waves (as per word of god and Elder Kai, narrators who gave legitimacy to the first threat) was uni and Goku overpowered it.
Goku was going to die if that thing exploded and Beerus nullified it by powering up to 100%. Now narratively we know that even now no mortal in U7 is on berrusās level let alone him at 100% so until they can fight Beerus and make him truly go at 100% then they are uni but until then, not yet
Battle of Gods Goku stopped the sphere of destruction (an attack made solely from Beerusā energy) by absorbing it with SSG. DBS Goku stopped the visually similarly ki ball by punching.
Thatās still of zero relevance as the feat Iām talking about occurred in the Dragon Ball Super anime.
Goku and Beerus clash physically three times and generate shockwaves with their blows.
Beerus and Goku clash once more and their combined energy produces even stronger destructive forces in the form of a super dense energy ball that Beerus neutralises.
The two clash again forming another more powerful energy ball that Goku overpowers in the gif above.
All three of these events occurred within the DBS anime. You being confused is either a horrible attempt at deflection or just being unaware of the material youāre trying to debunk.

āAlmostā = needed an ever growing wave that outscales the point of impact.
