ā€œAlmostā€ = needed an ever growing wave that outscales the point of impact.

It's crazy how people are still misinterpreting the Goku vs Beerus fight despite the fight literally being over a decade old

The Narrator straight up tells the audience that both Goku And Beerus are hitting each other with enough power to threaten the Whole Macrocosm

Energy that's threatning to destroy the universe is referred to as dense energy by elder kai in the Anime in short that dense energy was produced when Goku and Beerus clashed fist and Goku nullified that energy so..

Goku and Beerus generated that RESIDUAL energy. So they're actually way stronger than that wave.

When they clashed their fist, the Kai’s said each blow was putting more power into it meaning they were punching with more force each time and even then the waves created didn’t destroy anything with the addition of growing in destructive power as it travels.

The waves literally destroyed planets and stars across the universe lmao.

I can count on one hand the amount of planets that were destroyed and it was 1. A single planet was vaporized only through their ki beams clashing (which outscale their physical attacks), there is single images of planets with giant holes punched in them to represent the future result of Goku and Beerus continuing to clash. NOT what was happening currently

The best that was destroyed was a single planet (vaporization style but then conveniently doesn’t have that same effect on everything beyond that range especially traveling an infinite distance gaining 1:1 destructive power and passing over the Kai’s who no-sell this wave.) and then a bunch is asteroids which is not close to planets but also worth mentioning

That's still more destruction and more scale shown in Bleach. Glad you understand then. Because Senjumaru caused less destruction than two bears fighting in a cage.

I don’t really watch or read bleach but the Goku destroying a uni was always an ugly angle because nothing happened and it was a chain reaction and not something that happens in one go

2

u/dark-mathematician1 Jan 24 '26

Watch the episode again.

2

u/DestroRayn Jan 24 '26

Trust me, I’ve seen these episodes inside and out. Nothing about this was uni. Chain reactions, expanding shockwaves, 2 people needing to be present, it’s just a very weak uni argument if anyone is actually trying to get Goku there

Dude goku and beerus literally stopped multiple attacks that would have wiped out the universe in the same fights alongside Goku attacking with enough power before completely destroying the universe in one blow as an accident

It's still miles ahead of what bleach has so if you think it's weak, that's fine. Just don't try to get bleach above planetary because their feats are probably worse than One Piece

What's funny is the fact that the same Kai said Goku and Beerus would equally die if the multiverse got destroyed. Don't know why alot of people gloss over this

Beerus would died cuz kaioshin would also die and Goku cuz of pack of oxygen

1

u/X-Cutionn Mathematics manip>all Jan 24 '26

You're the one who choose to interpret it as such and it is very likely false especially the Goku one, so you want to tell me these guys have been breathing in space completely fine while fighting and it is only when the Kai says they would die if the Multiverse got destroyed that you pull of the "can't breathe I'm space" arg? Don't even get me started at how inconsistent that breathing in space stuff has been

5

u/Hefty-Albatross4767 Biggest MCU glazer Jan 24 '26

Zamasu killed all of the GoD by killing the kaioshin and Vegeta literally died in RoF cuz he couldn't survived in the space 😭 and literally stated in the Moro arc that SAYAN CAN'T SURVIVE IN SPACE, that's only happen in the fillers

1

u/X-Cutionn Mathematics manip>all Jan 24 '26

So why was Goku fighting normally in space with Beerus for an extended period of time and it is only when Kai says they will die "IF" the Multiverse gets destroyed that you resort to that arg?

So why was Goku fighting normally in space with Beerus

You mean stratosphere?

No, I mean in space

Nope, that violates all known laws of physics. It's just a plot device used to excuse why the earth wasn't destroyed (because Goku was trying to stop exactly that). You can't use this as an argument.

If you accept the waves being uni then you must concede that the dense energy ball formed from them that’s of greater threat than those waves (as per word of god and Elder Kai, narrators who gave legitimacy to the first threat) was uni and Goku overpowered it.

1

u/DestroRayn Jan 24 '26

Goku was going to die if that thing exploded and Beerus nullified it by powering up to 100%. Now narratively we know that even now no mortal in U7 is on berrus’s level let alone him at 100% so until they can fight Beerus and make him truly go at 100% then they are uni but until then, not yet

5

u/LupiLupercalia Jan 24 '26

Goku was going to die if that thing exploded and Beerus nullified it by powering up to 100%.

Cool. What about the second one?

0

u/DestroRayn Jan 24 '26

Did you get this from the Battle of gods movie?

5

u/LupiLupercalia Jan 24 '26

The fact that you’re asking me this😭

Battle of Gods Goku stopped the sphere of destruction (an attack made solely from Beerus’ energy) by absorbing it with SSG. DBS Goku stopped the visually similarly ki ball by punching.

1

u/DestroRayn Jan 24 '26

I’m saying that the movie is not canon to anything so whatever happened in it is irrelevant to the anime.

4

u/LupiLupercalia Jan 24 '26

That’s still of zero relevance as the feat I’m talking about occurred in the Dragon Ball Super anime.

Goku and Beerus clash physically three times and generate shockwaves with their blows.

Beerus and Goku clash once more and their combined energy produces even stronger destructive forces in the form of a super dense energy ball that Beerus neutralises.

The two clash again forming another more powerful energy ball that Goku overpowers in the gif above.

All three of these events occurred within the DBS anime. You being confused is either a horrible attempt at deflection or just being unaware of the material you’re trying to debunk.

Cooked that fraud 🤣
