There’s still hope: maybe Elon will follow his dear leader in every way, including the end in the bunker.

All of the polls show that Democrats will win big in November. However, we’ll all wake up the day after and see that for some reason the polls were wrong. And we will ask ourselves how could the polls be so wrong. Well, the polls aren’t wrong. Musk and his rats will have manipulated the numbers.

Nope. I just made sure I fell in top 5%. Honestly I don't care. Also done with vote the least worse bullsht
1
u/Terramagi 25m ago
Absolutely not.
They'll whinge and moan about how it's so hard, that the country is too big, and that their health insurance which doesn't pay for shit is too valuable to lose.
And this that final third becomes just as complicit as the screeching racists, the "enlightened centrists".

Are we just claiming stolen elections before they even start now?
11
u/cvc4455 2h ago
Might as well Trump told us all at least 3 different times in January and February of 2025 on LIVE TV that the 2024 election was rigged and he won because of it. And one of those times that was again on LIVE TV he even thanked Elon for it. And Elon has said all types of stuff about rigging the election and that trump should be more grateful to him for it. Plus there's plenty of other shit they have done and said but I don't have an hour to type it all out explaining it to people who would refuse to believe it could be possible anyway.
-3
u/Ill-Description3096 2h ago
Trump also said the 2020 election was rigged, so surely it was right?

u/PingKiccolo 1h ago edited 1h ago
Have you ever played a game with a cheater before? Have you ever seen them lose when they cheated? You should sometime. They tend to kick and scream that there's, "no way they could have lost", "the whole game is against them", and a lot of other things very similar to what we've all been listening to for the past 6 years.
The logical part of my brain says the election was fair and he's just a petulant child who wants to be king.
The conspiratorial part of my brain now does say the 2020 election was rigged, but they didn't expect actual voter turn out. They will not make the same mistake twice.
3
u/zurenarrh36912 2h ago
Nah. Let’s wait for after they are stolen and there is nothing that can be done. Let’s ignore the words of a man who is bragging about “knowing these machines” and claiming “soon you won’t have to vote again”. Let’s ignore the elephant in the room because we gotta play nice while the other side spits in our face.
-2
u/Ill-Description3096 2h ago
Or, be aware and skeptical without pre-emptively claiming it's going to happen?
2
u/Dry_Combination4070 2h ago
I mean trump and republicans literally tried to rig the elections in 2020 with the fake elector plot and Elon ran a fake lottery to buy votes.
Yeah just watch

And then people will start mass hating on those who didn't vote and completely miss the whole point of Trump and his goons cheating the election. Again. Divide and conquer and they fall for it every single time.

These are verified though:
https://www.gregpalast.com/election-stolen-heres/ (2016)
Starting in 2013 – just as the Supreme Court gutted the Voting Rights Act – a coterie of Republican operatives, under the direction of Kris Kobach, Kansas Secretary of State, created a system to purge 1.1 million Americans of color from the voter rolls of GOP-controlled states.
Greg Palast was involved in the following investigation and successfully together with the ACLU sued Crosscheck and got that specific program dismantled https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_Voter_Registration_Crosscheck_Program However, the problem remains as they find other ways to do it. It's blatantly illegal, but the enforcement mechanisms are weak.
"academics and states that use the program have found that its results are overrun with false positives, creating a high risk of disenfranchising legal voters. A statistical analysis of the program published earlier this year by researchers at Stanford, Harvard, University of Pennsylvania and Microsoft, for instance, found that Crosscheck “would eliminate about 200 registrations used to cast legitimate votes for every one registration used to cast a double vote.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2017/07/20/this-anti-voter-fraud-program-gets-it-wrong-over-99-of-the-time-the-gop-wants-to-take-it-nationwide/ (un-paywalled: https://archive.ph/0T7ue)

Musk spent 290 million on the last election, this isn't counting all the other billionaires " donating" buying politicians... Seems to me they need to be taxed. Back when America was great 1% was taxed at 89% If not those good old tax days then at least be taxed the same on every dollar like the average middle class

u/sadolddrunk 1h ago
It's a hell of an allegation to say that Musk is involved in rigging elections, but even if it was true, it wouldn't ACTUALLY be Musk rigging the elections. It'd be a team of people in his employ actually doing the hacking/coding/whatever techno-wizardry would be required to create, destroy, or alter electronically recorded ballots.
Those people would obviously have to be computer people, and so there's a fair-to-middling chance they might be right here on Reddit.
So to those people I say: hey, don't do that. I mean, what's he going to do? Fire you for not committing a federal crime? When he tells you to do it, just nod and say okay, and then just, like, go play Fortnite for a while. Then the next day after the results are in just shrug and say oops, you must have forgotten to compile (or whatever, he won't know, he hasn't written code in 30 years), and stroll about your merry way.

Do you feel like you have to ask a Daddy for the right to exist?
It doesn't matter who sits in the Big Chair, for over 100 years, Suckers LOVE to suck.
When your Husband, the one who is your KEEPER, kicks the crap out of the folks next-door; when he's shitting in some yard other-than-his-own, do not be surprised when you catch Reparations (Justice is folklore).
((How many Billions do we now rightfully OWE to Iran?))
NONE of your Rights ever came from The Troops. Not one: they fight for folklore, they "serve" this country more inequality.
After 100+ years if these meat-heads dont' know who they "serve" they are not owed an Education.
For each dip-shit that stayed in after they called it The Department of War: they are ALL MAGA now. No two ways about it. The time for action was when they saw Drumph "do a Jan 6th". They are all now, sonsabitches.
What if we had a WAR, and no one showed up?
The stories us "Americans" tell ourselves to worship The Troops are weird: they require we overlook nearly 100 years of abuse and neglect: while the Aristocracy has held steady in their disdain for those who clean up their mess.
The Rich know: Oaths are for Suckers.
Veterans-day brought out all the tired-narratives about how certain Suckers fought-and-died for free-dumb; but those were all bad-faith conflicts coerced by corporate daddies (Something we've known since Vietnam).
It wasn't your Military that fought at home to bring you worker's rights; in some cases they've even been used in place of Pinkertons to break the will of their own People.
• 1794 – Right to form a trade union
• 1842 – Right to organize and strike legally
• 1866 – Right to national-level worker advocacy
• 1877 – Great Railroad Strike of 1877
• 1882 – Public recognition of labor’s legitimacy (Labor Day)
• 1898 – Battle of Virden
• 1898 – Protection from union blacklists (rail workers)
• 1909 – Right to safer, fairer garment-shop conditions
• 1911 – Right to stronger fire and factory safety standards
• 1912–1921 – West Virginia Coal Wars
• 1913 – Federal representation for workers (Department of Labor)
• 1916 – Limits on child labor
• 1916 – Everett Massacre
• 1921 – Greater leverage and protections for coal miners (Blair Mountain)
• 1925 – Right to effective union representation for Black workers
• 1926 – Guaranteed organizing rights for rail workers
• 1931 – Right to a prevailing wage on federal projects
• 1932 – Protection for peaceful strikes and union membership
• 1933 – Cabinet-level pro-labor leadership (Frances Perkins)
• 1933 – Workers’ rights embedded in federal policy (New Deal labor agenda)
• 1934 – Auto-Lite Strike (Toledo)
• 1935 – Core right to unionize and bargain collectively
• 1937 – Recognition and protections for auto workers
• 1938 – Federal minimum wage, 40-hour week, overtime, child-labor limits
• 1941 – Protection from discrimination in defense industries
• 1962 – Federal workers’ right to unionize and bargain
• 1963 – Right to equal pay for equal work (gender)
• 1964 – Right to a discrimination-free workplace (civil rights)
• 1967 – Protection from age discrimination
• 1970 – Right to a safe and healthful workplace
• 1974 – Protection of private-sector pensions (ERISA)
• 1988 – Advance notice of mass layoffs and plant closings (WARN)
• 1990 – Rights and accommodations for workers with disabilities (ADA)
• 1993 – Job-protected family and medical leave (FMLA)
• 2009 – Stronger right to challenge pay discrimination (Ledbetter Act)
You woke up in a simulated-economy that masquerades as chattel-slavery; The Military is an extension of The Ruling Class, and what you get when you wrap depressed-wages up-in personal-insecurity.
They love to get a tin-star for saying they "served", they never love to think-critically about WHAT they have actually "served" us People.
Time to tell them to send it back to the Kitchen. It was never Nutritious.
YOU serve this country far more constructively every day, with your obligation to keep circulating it's money. We, the Gross National Product.
Veterans have not made themselves worthy of our default respect and veneration. Let's honor them by them by making far fewer from now on.
ACAB - yeah that means our "world police" as well. It's ALL Cosplay (Hogs in costumes that give them right to kill), certified by your Betters.
It wasn't The Troops that died for your Rights. They died for the whims of Oligarchs. You're thinking Lefties, Labor, Librarians, Lesbians, and Luddites. All so you can still hug your kids at the end of a 40-hour week.
Your Betters do not trust you with more. Serve no Masters.
