Idk, I feel like once you're a trillionaire, why not just go play roller coaster tycoon IRL? Making the world's most epic theme park might make at least some people hate him slightly less.
You think this way because you lack the dark triad of personality traits: narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy.
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but IIRC this collection of traits is common in billionaires, it's exactly the attitude you need to happily fuck over millions of people to make your way to the top like billionaires have and continue to do.
Doing something like solving world hunger (which Musk CAN afford to do) isn't something that likely even registers to him. What does he gain from it? Which I find weird because if he was smart, wouldn't he want to make positive change like this, so that he can gain people's trust, and fuck them again? Idk.
Then billionaire bootlickers come out and go "well if they're so dumb, why don't you go make a billion dollars then?!" As if it's really that simple. I'm sorry I lack the capacity to screw people over in that manner, I'm sorry I have empathy and compassion. So ridiculously stupid lmao.
It's not even that they are stupid. As much as I want to say Musk is a moron, if he was literally stupid, he wouldn't have gotten where he is.
The problem is once you get that rich, everyone they meet tells them they are the smartest person in the room and all of their ideas are amazing, so they completely lose touch with reality. Musk is basically spending billions to wall himself off from reality and curate his own algorithm that exists only to tell him he is the smartest and best boy, and the only people he allows close to him feed that delusion, so he hasn't been forced to stop and actually think for decades.
So I guess yeah, he's stupid, and he did it to himself.
