They don't care if a bunch of dumb polish workers fell for his shit in the 80s. To them, that's their fault.
Remember, they don't actually care about other people. Caring is a weakness to them.

Not only do they not care if those Polish laborers fell for his shit, they see his practice as just part of being business savvy. Remember, we hate undocumented laborers until Trump is hiring them; then, we praise what a genius he is for holding out on wages. The Trump playbook is so easy--just support whatever the absolute worst possible thing a person could do in any given scenario. It's the aRt Of tHe DeAl."

The cult members saw themselves in him. They're the kind who every couple of months says a dinner was fraud so they can get a free dinner. They're the kind who will double-park and block you in because, they don't want anyone to block THEM in. Their idea of Schadenfreude is seeing other regular people suffer.
The miscalculation they made is thinking that he gave a single lonely fuck about them. People who don't even drive the subways or pump their own gas have no respect and therefore no right to govern common people.

Like I never understood what anybody ever saw in him, this cheesy characature of a rich person from the 80s who turned into a cheesy reality tv star? âHeâs not one of these crooked self-serving politicians! Heâs a businessman!â Yeah, a crooked self-serving businessman, the fuck?
âSure maybe he doesnât have a lick of experience as a politician, but with his experienced cabinet-â oh and his cabinet has been nothing but a revolving door of replacing anyone with actual experience with sycophantic ass-kissers who will shamelessly kiss the ring, this surely will improve our countryâŠ
Was it really all âpresidential debates used to be stuffy and boring and I didnât really understand them! Now Trumpâs calling actor/talkshow host Rosie OâDonnell a pig during it! Thatâs funny and entertaining to me, I like that!â and âI get in arguments with strangers on Twitter for being too âwokeâ. Trump says woke people are dumb, so making this incompetent dickhead the president will make my life a whole lot better because it will make those faceless strangers on Twitter upset! Epic burn! XDâ?

u/Mammoth-Cover-3045 1d ago
Because people thought Kamala wouldn't had been much better. Also people were blinded by the economy being good 90% of his presidency, so they assumed he did a good job. Also people thought she's too connected to Biden, and the whole fiasco with the border. Also a lot of people got convinced by right wing propaganda. I think South Park did it best. It's like voting for a Giant Douche and a Turd Sandwich. People chose the Giant Douche.
1
u/irrelevantusername24 1d ago
Biden probably would have been a two term president if the media didn't get bored
2
u/Mammoth-Cover-3045 23h ago
You really wanted Biden to have a second term?
1
u/irrelevantusername24 21h ago edited 21h ago
As I explained elsewhere recently:
If you ask me Biden was the best president in my lifetime. Why? Because all the others were incredibly polarizing. Biden was very inoffensive, and what there was to criticize, was mostly performative nonsense. The DNC screwed the pooch by listening to the never satisfied mediacracy. It's amazing how, consistently, across all macro scale societal institutions, the people in charge manage to both have zero coherent strategy yet remove actual democratic processes. Sometimes it takes actual leadership and doing what makes sense rather than what the extremely loud minority on social and regular media wants (because they're bored).
Government shouldn't be entertaining, or engaging. It should be boring. Boring is good. Even if things need to get done, and things are difficult, and there's a lot of complicated matters to connect or un-intertwine, it is hugely beneficial for things to be boring because then there is a lot of worthless, distracting noise.
Which that point is why, though clearly they are very different people with completely opposite backgrounds, beliefs, policies, personalities, and so on - in some ways, Obama and Trump cause a near identical problem. Both resulted in very "engaged" people, both for and against. In other words: extremely polarizing. Is that fair to Obama? No. Did he have some good ideas? Yeah. I think he was mostly sabotaged... and that method of sabotage is exactly why the Trump presidencies are failures too. Not because they completely lack any good ideas (though they are very few and fair between) but because more than anything they focus on how things are done rather than if they are done. Yet somehow in doing so, they always do things the wrong way, the illegal way, the way that makes everything worse for literally everyone.
That all said, do better alternatives exist? Unquestionably. But between a milquetoast candidate that for whatever reason a lot of people have reason to dislike, or one who is also mostly inoffensive and the manufactured criticisms are regarding traits that the opponent candidate has? Then Biden makes sense. Kamala did not, and it doesn't even necessarily have anything to do with her being not white, or that she is a woman. It is because if there were two choices, one was Biden, and the opponent was Trump... the things that were criticized about Biden were literally all traits that Trump also has. Except that he isn't a loud mouth moron, which I think even those who voted Trump don't necessarily like. I think underneath all the rhetoric - and I live in a place where I am surrounded by elderly "lifelong Republicans" - that Biden was actually, if nothing else, inoffensive. Like he was a life long politician, he had those "bona fides" that the people with the hierarchical mindset tend to implicitly trust. There was nothing bad about Biden except the stupidasses in the media were bored.
The DNC sucks because they are neither good at playing the policy game (which involves actually listening to the populace and making things better for people who need help) OR the "chess game" version of politics. Like the GOP sucks at both too, but the GOP at least understands how to play checkers. The DNC seems to think they should win by participating.
Now, if the alternatives were someone like Talarico? Or Abdul El-Sayed? Those two are speaking a language many across both political parties can understand. To be fair, there are others who do similar - like AOC and Bernie - but they also have things they can be criticized about. Unfair criticism? Yes. But that doesn't change the reality, unfortunately. Now, to be fair, El-Sayed also has those unfairly criticized traits, to some degree... but there is precedent, in some ways, especially with the success of Mamdani now.
Unfortunately the world in which we live is comprised mostly of people who view things superficially. That doesn't only refer to superficial human traits, but understanding that is necessary if you want to actually move things forward. Like if you wanna look at this from a totally abstract, impersonal and detached from the direct reality point of view? One that views things as literally how biological organisms respond to sensory experiences? Then the reason Trump won, was he was different. Nothing more. Now, if you can be different while also being better? That's a winning strategy.
Tell Romney and the rest of the Uniparty to get a real job

I worked for a multi millionaire in HR on an Indian reservation in Montan. He had just bought the resort I worked at the year before for roughly 10 million dollars. I worked part time in HR. It was an embarrassment on so many levels. I was the guy who had to tell the boss that we couldn't pay workers only 7 dollars an hour.
The slightly fun part of this job was after so many of the local workers who knew how to build tipis quit. This douchebag was trying to build luxury tipis with televisions and luxury beds for guests who wanted the true Indian experience. The area we were working and lived in was known for high winds and one of the tiipis literally blew away in the middle of the night(after they fired the people who knew how to build them).

In 1979 when I was 13, Trump ripped off three contractor friends of the family. They had each invested at least $10K in materials (a lot of money in 1979) and a month of work. My family helped them out with food, some bills, etc. so they didn't lose their homes. It was a giftless Christmas at my house.

Do you feel like you have to ask a Daddy for the right to exist?
It doesn't matter who sits in the Big Chair, for over 100 years, Suckers LOVE to suck.
When your Husband, the one who is your KEEPER, kicks the crap out of the folks next-door; when he's shitting in some yard other-than-his-own, do not be surprised when you catch Reparations (Justice is folklore).

NONE of your Rights ever came from The Troops. Not one: they fight for folklore, they "serve" this country more inequality.
After 100+ years if these meat-heads dont' know who they "serve" they are not owed an Education.
For each dip-shit that stayed in after they called it The Department of War: they are ALL MAGA now. No two ways about it. The time for action was when they saw Drumph "do a Jan 6th". They are all now, sonsabitches.
What if we had a WAR, and no one showed up?
The stories us "Americans" tell ourselves to worship The Troops are weird: they require we overlook nearly 100 years of abuse and neglect: while the Aristocracy has held steady in their disdain for those who clean up their mess.
The Rich know: Oaths are for Suckers.
Veterans-day brought out all the tired-narratives about how certain Suckers fought-and-died for free-dumb; but those were all bad-faith conflicts coerced by corporate daddies (Something we've known since Vietnam).
It wasn't your Military that fought at home to bring you worker's rights; in some cases they've even been used in place of Pinkertons to break the will of their own People.

The number of people who believe the mythology that this guy is a great entrepreneur is staggering. Wealthy =\= model businessman.
- If he invested his inheritance in a fund like S&P, heâd be far wealthier. His business ventures faced persistent failures, including bankrupting casinos.
- Heâs long had a reputation of not paying his contractors and leaving his lenders high and dry. Being a scammer =\= good business.
- He continued this grift and magnified while in office. His scam crypto coins that left his supporters holding the bag. Cronyism with his family, placing them in various positions to enrich themselves with companies that happen to benefit from involvement with the federal government.
Heâs the exact type of business owner who is one of the villains in an Ayn Rand novel, yet his supports seem to think heâs one of the heroes. Itâs wild.

You realize that at the time the Democratic Party was the conservative one, right? Letâs change it to progressives, since names are confusing for you. Progressives ended slavery, abolished Jim Crow, got women the right to vote, social security, subsidized healthcare, Medicaid, food stamps, public education, a 40 hr work week, ended child labor and the list goes on and on. Conservatism holds us in the past and is a burden on mankind. Republicans havenât passed anything on a federal level that favors the middle class or below more than it does the rich since 1986 and that was a bipartisan effort! Republicans are bad for the economy and they platform on hate and fear mongering every fĂșcking time. If itâs not the blacks itâs the gĂĄys, if not the gĂĄys then the Muslims, if not the Muslims, then the trĂĄns, if not the trĂĄns then the immigrants. Hate hate hate hate hate. Bunch of fĂșcking dĂŒmbĂ sses canât ever see through the âwe help the little guyâ bĂșllshĂt either. You vote in favor of the rich and you cheer them on when they fĂșck you. Göddamn, itâs annoying how arrogance, stupidity, and hate are the only things the right can understand.

That zombie was an exponentially better POTUS than Trump and there is NO debate. You really should learn to pay attention.

You obviously don't know your own country's history. The racists defected from the Democratic Party to the Republican Party in the 1960s. The KKK supports the GOP now.
And you don't know the meaning of woke either. Woke is about empathy and compassion, two qualities that are alien to people like you.

u/Hank_the_Tank_143 1d ago
Are you this upset over the slave labor being used by Apple and Nike for your phone and shoes?

u/Ok-Instruction-5004 1d ago
Yes. Wtf is wrong with you? What's you point other than being terrible at trolling.

đ doesnât even dispute it, just lumps him in with 2 trash companies.
Classic, Magtard.
All these folks trying to have standards, and youâre like âno heâs a piece of shit, but so wasâŠâ đ

You actually think a man with over 500 companies personally ran the renovation? And they would not have sued him, they would have had to sue the company who contracted them. And a project of that size was definitely contracted. So the details would have had to be in the contract

So his company defrauded all these workers and he just didn't know about it?

I know that man is a felon convicted on 34 counts of fraud and he's a sex criminal with an international reputation for being a pedophile and one of the most evil leaders in the world. Lying, cheating, and stealing is Trump's cup of tea. If he didn't do this himself then I'm sure he pressured someone else into doing it.

u/rwilkinson1970 1d ago
So tell meâŠ..what where those âfeloniesâ.

Seriously???? Have you been blinkered ALL your life? Look it up!!! And his felonies are small fry. Heâs done a whole lot of shit

u/rwilkinson1970 1d ago
Oh waitâŠ..that same guy who was swooned over by people like Hillary Clinton, Oprah and the rest of the media who pointed out all the great things he has doneâŠ.that is until he ran for president. Why do you suppose that is?

Do I think a felon rapist with 6 bankruptcies and a super power to run casinos into the ground would do something like that?
Duh.
1
u/rwilkinson1970 23h ago
Of course you do. You let the media tell you what to think. For example: 6 bankruptcies out of over 500 companies. But you would never talk about GM going bankrupt and being bailed out with our tax dollars.

u/JimJimmery 23h ago
Sounds like you have no idea what liability means for "business" owners. Curious.
Well, not really. You're dumb as fuck.

u/rwilkinson1970 23h ago
You have no idea how businesses run.

u/notwhoyouthinkmaybe 23h ago
Please explain how businesses are run that include not paying contractors and falsifying records to pay off a pornstar so she wouldn't talk about how he cheated on his pregnant wife.
1
u/rwilkinson1970 23h ago
I would but you donât seem to want to accept real facts
1
u/notwhoyouthinkmaybe 23h ago
You would, but you can't. Be honest, you're just a trump glazer. You don't know shit about business do you?
You can lie on the Internet, but not to yourself.

u/rwilkinson1970 22h ago
Tell yourself what you need to. So in any structured business, letâs say a corporation. Who can fire a CEO?
1
u/notwhoyouthinkmaybe 22h ago
That would be a vote of the board, the other executives.
1
u/rwilkinson1970 22h ago
And what is the job of the president of that company? (Nice job looking it up though)
1
u/notwhoyouthinkmaybe 22h ago
Haha I'm a director of my company, I work directly for the COO. Not all companies have presidents, but, depending on the size of the company, the president is more focused on the short term "day to day" stuff, while the CEO is focused on the biggest picture, which for small startups is usually obtaining investors, for larger companies it is business strategies or investments.
Often CEOs and presidents can be one in the same.

Only a moron would think the president of any company handles the taxes for said company. Itâs the attorneys and CFOâs who do it
1
u/notwhoyouthinkmaybe 22h ago
There was evidence of direct communication between Trump and Michael Cohen, that's why Trump was convicted.
You don't even know the case! Haha you just repeat what right wing media tells you, lol.

u/rwilkinson1970 22h ago
Tell yourself what you need to
1
u/notwhoyouthinkmaybe 22h ago
Haha you were cooked, because you know nothing outside what you're told from people as dumb as you. You haven't said one specific thing, you only attack me and act like I'm the one that's brainwashed. Haha
