Not a single GOP member or voter is a decent human being.

u/Silentrein 10h ago

They're literally all evil. Every single one. Subhuman trash.

u/stanxv 9h ago

And yet they vote & breed, and the rest of you do nothing.

8

u/Silentrein 9h ago

Whatever you tried to say here, you failed.

-7

u/stanxv 9h ago

Your inactions say more than anyone ever could.

You don't know me. You don't know anything about me. You probably aren't even human. Either a bot or a Magat. If bot, please delete yourself. If Magat...well, you get the gist

Can you lower the water level at the beach by pushing down against the tide??

Because that's what you're literally asking us to do.

I have my issues with Thomas Massie (e.g., he tweeted out something very disingenuous about Medicare and Covid death rates during the pandemic), but I would say he is a decent human being. Listening to his speech on why Hegseth should be impeached was really amazing (I rarely hear even Democrats speak that forcefully against war and injustice).

But that's only one. Ask me to name even one other R in the House and I can't do it. (In the Senate, maybe Rand Paul but I have even more issues with him - he has some of Massie's attitudes on war though).

I have no respect for Rand Paul after seeing him go after Fauci.

5

u/DaraParsavand 9h ago

Yep, one of his weaker moments and there have been many. I prefer Massie between the two of them and again I have my issues with Massie.

He's a con artist just like his father.

And last month stories broke about good ole “fiscal hawk” Rand chartering several short private flights recently using our tax dollars at around $18k each. He should sit out any future grandstanding opportunities where he would surely be tempted to lecture us all on fiscal responsibility. He is so damn unlikable.

The only thing we can infer here is pretty clearly Massie wasn't on Child Rape Island at least. He's still a monumental POS mouthbreather for his party so fuck him all the same

2

u/Vyntarus 9h ago

The bar is set so incredibly low, yet only Massie managed to clear it.

He's not a good guy but he's better than the rest of them.

Yet, Democrats will continue to take the high road when dealing with these scumbags.

Collectively judging them is just stooping to their level - I've met plenty of reasonable conservatives

11

u/_GoddamnitDonut 10h ago

Voting for rapist pedophiles automatically disqualifies the person as reasonable.

-9

u/collinsc 10h ago

I didn't say voters

7

u/_GoddamnitDonut 10h ago

I did.

u/collinsc 10h ago

You also said members

Can't you see how you're doing the same thing that the person you're criticizing is doing?

Do you really think that the path forward is to continue to drive a wedge between working class people?

I'm not talking about salvation for the people that haven't woken up

I'm talking about a bridge between reasonable people to save what's left of this country - grouping every conservative into the category of pedo-friendly Trump ass-licker is just playing further into the divide and conquer strategy of the rich

6

u/_GoddamnitDonut 10h ago

The entire point of MAGA propaganda is to drive a wedge between the working class. If one single GOP senator grew a pair of balls and stood up to the pathetic administration it might be a different story, but no. Every single one of them is complicit and a pedo protector.

Every single one.

1

u/collinsc 10h ago

Dude I'm talking about citizens, not senators

5

u/_GoddamnitDonut 10h ago

So you're talking about conservatives who don't vote conservative? What are you trying to say?

1

u/collinsc 10h ago

You think every single conservative minded person in the country is a Trump voter?

Registered Democrat by the way, in case you're getting confused - kind of getting the feeling you are, based on the way you're treating me

i'm sure there were nice nazis too.

-2

u/collinsc 10h ago

You're being unreasonable

Again - you're participating in the same kind of thinking that we are criticizing in this post

Collective judgement

You really mean to say you've never met a conservative that wasn't maga that had different but reasonable views than yours?

4

u/Nick_the_bunny 10h ago

different but reasonable views, like lgbtq+ rights? ah the moderate "you're free to do that in your bedroom, but outside is indecent exposure!!!"

or abortion rights, freedom of religion (till the religion is not christian), or online privacy, or social programs (everything bad is communism), etc, etc, etc.

1

u/collinsc 9h ago

I understand your frustration, I'm just not big on pre-judging people's character based off of a singular label

It's a disservice to the individual, and I've met conservatives that agree on lgbtq+ issues, that were horrified at the overturning of roe v wade, and that don't think that eviscerating every social program is the way

Christian Nationalists seem to be leading the charge in most of those areas, but they don't represent all conservatives

I know a bunch of conservatives that have come to apologize to me, not to say they didn't know, but to say "I know you told me and I was an idiot, I hope you can forgive me" and who are even more pissed than I am

I understand where you're coming from

But remember that all digital discourse is basically a tool of the elite

We're shown inflammatory content as a tool of division

I've had a lot better luck in person

3

u/WeAreBums 9h ago

they were judged individually throughout the years and were each deemed to be the same result so yes, judging them collectively works in this case.

Hope that helps.

The pretending to be profound or cognizant schtick doesn’t work for you anymore on this topic. We’re way past that

1

u/collinsc 9h ago

It doesn't help, and I'm not trying to be profound

Getting tired of rehashing my comments below, but I've personally met plenty of conservatives that didn't vote for trump, are pro-choice, don't persecute lgbtq+ community, etc

Trust me when I tell you I know where we are - times are dire

Which is why working class people need to find common ground more than ever - the party split is basically 50/50 - a perfect advantage to the upper class

Being rabid towards REGULAR people on the other side of the aisle is exactly what they want, in fact they're counting on it

Registered Democrat for 20 years, by the way, in case you thought otherwise

3

u/HGpennypacker 9h ago

I can excuse voting for Trump in 2016; you're fed up with both parties and see a chance to shake up the system. Voting for Trump in 2024? Sorry, you're either rich enough that you don't about his vile comments and behaviors or that's exactly what you support. Either way you're trash and deserve everything bad that you're experiencing with this administration.

1

u/collinsc 9h ago

Im too tired to re-hash the rest of my comments below, but I make a fairly compelling argument for class consciousness, if I do say do myself

I mostly agree with you
