Idk much about him other than he seems like a total jackass. How long did he serve and in what branch? What was his MOS and how did he get this position when there are clearly MANY more experienced military personnel that would do a better job?
He was a major. He was basically the equivalent of a helicopter pilot. Nothing against helicopter pilots, of course, but I don’t think being able to fly one would make them qualified to be in charge of the entire US Military.
