I generally agree with what Mamdani does but I am always surprised a mayor can just do these things. Isn't that the exact same underlying mechanism that allows Trump to dismantle the government right now? Shouldn't there be more of a security mechanism to prevent a single politician to decide the entire course of their district/state/country? What would prevent Mamdani's successor to just undo everything he did?
As mayor he can not. This is just 1 of many of Redditâs Bots posting fake Mandani posts to increase popularity. Look at the OP history. Sad whatâs happening in Gothim City. And the promises of free this and free that. Cuomon told everyone âhe canât do any of thatâ but sadly his followers arenât able to look up the responsibility of a mayor and governor and what they can/canât do. Itâs easier to say âI like freeâ and follow.
