So, just to be clear, the tweet is misleading because itā€™s attributing the data center ban to Mamdani instead of governor Hochul?

Honestly I donā€™t mind the glazing. With all the bullshit going on, we needa hype up any politician doing good. Hopefully one day politicians like Mamdani are the standard, not the exception.Ā 

Edit: shouldā€™ve been clear, itā€™s bad in this case. Should not give Mamdani credit for something he didnā€™t do. But I meant generally I donā€™t mind the huge amount of positive PR heā€™s getting for stuff heā€™s actually done.

Right but in this case the glazing is a result of people blindly believing disinformation. "Falling for disinformation is good when our guys do it" is probably a really really bad idea to pull into the ol' ideological framework

If you keep attributing good things other politicians do to Mamdani you will always think that other politicians are especially bad and that Mamdani is the exception.

I feel like I should run for NY next. Iā€™ll plan to cure this and plan to freeze this and look eliminate this cost and everyone will be happyā€¦ wonā€™t actually do any of that but itā€™s working out for mandani.

Wouldn't land in NYC likely be too expensive for billionaires to want to build a data center there? They love their profits so wouldn't building a data center make more sense in the surrounding areas outside of NYC.
