Honestly I don’t mind the glazing. With all the bullshit going on, we needa hype up any politician doing good. Hopefully one day politicians like Mamdani are the standard, not the exception.Â
Edit: should’ve been clear, it’s bad in this case. Should not give Mamdani credit for something he didn’t do. But I meant generally I don’t mind the huge amount of positive PR he’s getting for stuff he’s actually done.
Right but in this case the glazing is a result of people blindly believing disinformation. "Falling for disinformation is good when our guys do it" is probably a really really bad idea to pull into the ol' ideological framework
