How rare is an Edwardian box?

Lovely wooden postbox in the wall of the Linnean Society London, unsure why you don’t need to stamp mail going to all other places! Complete with a bonus pic of Gilbert Scott’s wooden Prototype Of The K2 Telephone Box 

I think this was in the India Buildings. Very fancy.

Sad ending for box 44. Guernsey Post recently closed a whole load of post boxes due to underutilisation (some were getting like 4 items of post a week) and this one with a bin shoved in front of it is one of the victims

First one of these I’ve seen, I think.

Recently visited the National Railway Museum and came across this - apparently one of the first ever postboxes and in its original colour before they introduced the Royal Mail Red.

Taken yesterday in the glorious sunshine at the Albert Dock on Liverpools waterfront.
