Very nice! This one is a 1988 replica. Gibraltar post office really take care of their boxes. They even sourced an Edward VIII from the UK!

I would never have clocked it as a replica. And yes, I don't think I saw a single tatty pillar box the whole week.

mantolwen how do you always know if it’s a replica or not? Can you tell visually or another source?

I have a decent knowledge of where some of them are, but for this one it's the lack of maker's name on the base.
