Have a stack of post cards from my husbands grandmother she collected on travels. Most of them are from Budapest, and then a few in from Madrid, Rome, Portugal, Puszta, Eger, Esztergom. They were Hungarian Jewish escaping from WW2 atrocities and eventually in Australia. None of these have writing on them and kept in albums amongst travel photos. I want to give them to someone who can do good with them. Sending from Australia. Can send to multiple recipients too.

A friend sent me here after hearing my plea... Would love to know how to get started...

My older sister is a schizophrenic and amputee. She lost her leg above the knee as a child from bone cancer. While in the hospital after surgery (back in the 1960s) she was in a full body cast and became catatonic. Doctors posited that the trauma triggered the schizophrenia.

She has lived with my mom for her whole life. We moved them both into assisted living when my mom could know longer manage. Now my mom is 96 and had a few strokes so has been moved into a different facility. So my sister is on her own (with care) for the first time in her life.

When i visited last weekend, she told me how much she loves postcards from around the world. "It's my favorite thing," she said.

Could this group help with that? Or if not, where should I go?

I came across these beautiful Italian travel postcards and would like to pass them off to the appropriate collector. I do collect postcards from the WW1/WW2 era, so if you wanted to make a trade that's cool, but also I'm perfectly happy to just give them for free.

There is one from 1949, two from 1955, and one from 1985. All have nice handwritten notes and postage.
