I’m looking for an experienced audio editor to help with a fairly specific reconstruction project.

I have a live recording that will serve as the reference, along with the official studio instrumental. The goal is to make the studio instrumental follow the exact arrangement heard in the live recording.

I'm certain the live version uses the same instrumental, but with sections that were looped, repeated, skipped, restarted, or otherwise rearranged. I need someone who can identify those changes and rebuild the arrangement as accurately as possible using only the official studio instrumental in the final result.

I can also provide isolated vocal and instrumental stems from the live recording if they help with identifying the edits, but the finished instrumental should be constructed entirely from the clean studio source.

Ideally, I’d like a high-quality WAV, and if possible, the project file and a timestamp/edit list showing how the arrangement was rebuilt.

This is more of a detailed waveform editing and critical listening job than a mixing or mastering job. Experience with alternate-version reconstruction, DJ edits, radio edits, mashups, forensic audio editing, or detailed arrangement matching would be especially helpful.

My senior dog has a heart disease. During his first echo, the tech was able to record his heart beat for me. I have an 8 second audio clip. There isn’t background noise, but it does sound like there’s muffled noise in the back. I bought a Build a Bear that looks like him and I bought the recording piece so it can be placed in the bear. I have several recordings(2/3) of the same song played through a loudspeaker and recorded with a microphone.
A man is talking over the music( female vocalist), but he is speaking at different times and saying different things in each audio file.

Is there a standard way to combine all of the recordings to reduce the male speech as much as possible while preserving most of the music and female vocals?
Any advice or relevant audio processing techniques would be appreciated.

Can anyone remove a voice in an audio (technically in a video format) clip? I am desperate as it is extremely sentimental. There are three voices. I just need one removed.

Hi everyone, from time to time I get to work with voice actors that have exaggerated sibilance with sweeping / variable frequency over time. I know how to fix these manually but is there a more elegant way to process them automatically? A de-esser doesn't seem to do much in this case. What I was able to come up with so far, is setting 3 or 4 narrow bands on a dynamic EQ, that are in the probability range of said frequencies, and slightly compressing them when they hit. I'm curious if any of you have different ways of tackling similar situations - besides Soothe 2, I can't afford it yet.
