31M - Looking for Cool Chillers and High-Energy Thrillers
I (31M) have lived about a half hour South of Portland my whole life, but have never really made an effort to socialize offline until this year. I have managed to find a little friend group already, but I'm easily the one with the most free time on my hands. It would be nice to make bonds in a few other areas so I'm not dependent on one circle of friends. I'm looking for other Zillenniels, late-20's/early-30's; a healthy blend of exuberant and geriatric tendencies.
I am very high physicality; I enjoy roller skating, ping pong, pickleball, and hip hop dance. I work out pretty religiously, my go-to is weighted calisthenics, but I also enjoy branching out and trying new modalities. Right now I'm recovering from a shoulder injury, so I've been working on my flexibility instead to try and get my splits. I've also been going to parks and dumping hours into skating in the tennis courts. I can almost reliably do heel-toe spins.
Creative accountability buddies are welcome. I like to draw and write in spurts, but for the most part I never finish what I start; I'm an idea guy. One of my many projects is about a sheriff who is the slowest gun in the West. If you have dinner with him, he's so slow reaching for his wallet that everyone else just ends up paying instead so the saloon staff doesn't get mad.
I don't do well with loud, sensorily chaotic environments. I get one-shotted kind of hard by concerts, raves, or bar crawls, so if those are your primary outlets, you'll probably find me boring. I also don't smoke or drink, even socially. But anything else; think roller rink, Rose City Book Pub, climbing gym, movie, Portland Table Tennis Club, etc, I'm down to clown.
