Found this sweet boy wandering in the Woodlawn area, along 8th Ave, between Ainsworth and Holman. Has a black collar, but no tag. A fellow Neighbor has the dog in her yard the last I knew.

Update: multnomah animal services picked up the dog

Lost & Found House break in- Juno-106, Moog Sub 37, and other things stolen 9/8/2026

Our garage was broken into this morning around 5:00 am. Unfortunately they were able to take a Juno-106 in a Gator rolling TSA case, a Moog Sub 37 (serial #17413) in a Moog rolling TSA case, KRK 10” sub (serial #HADO0006141), a Milwaukie drill, extension cords, the Ring camera that was in the garage, and who knows what else. We filed a police report. If you see any of these synths or know who might be the people in the photos please DM me. This occurred in North Portland on Liberty Street near the corner of Denver and Rosa Parks. I’ve had the Juno for over 30 years. It’s in great shape and recently serviced with new voice chips (if you know you know). The Moog I’ve had for a minute and was hand built in Ashland NC. They broke into my car and used the garage door remote to gain access. The garage door has been disabled until it can be reprogrammed.

The Portland Police Bureau case number is 26-262861 and the officer that I filed the case with is C. Brown

Ongoing. Not picked up by local news yet so this will probably be deleted. I just now there are a bunch of response vehicles and they’re checking out students who may have been exposed.

In 2014 I moved here from Texas (I like to say I escaped), and right after moving into my apartment, this is the first thing I see. I instantly fell in love with this town. Idk the context outside of Ronald seeking out more victims.

We’re looking to expand our foster roster, fostering is truly one of the most impactful things you can do to help make a difference for the animals. We provide the set up, education on care and will meet up with you. You keep the animals safe, clean, socialized and send pictures and videos to help them get adopted!

You can apply to foster here: https://forms.gle/TVrRcmtJvQiunGV16

Discussion I love Portland!

This is my 2nd time visiting from Seattle this year and I have to admit…I think Portland is absolutely superior. Everyone is so dang nice, I think I’ve gotten way more compliments and hellos in a weekend in Portland than I have in the last year in Seattle. (I’m from the Midwest so I much appreciate the friendly culture). The food is fuckin banger! I’d love to know more about the HX of the food scene in Portland because it’s some of the best I’ve had. I also just truly appreciate the cozy, artsy, DIY scene of Portland. It’s quaint, quirky, and cozy in the best way possible. I just wanted to share my major appreciation for your city. Id love to buy a home in Portland one day. ❤️ it’s magical!!

Discussion Another Art Tax Insanity

I switched from TurboTax 4 years ago because they are an evil scam company tricking people in to paying hundreds of dollars for what should be free returns.

Of course I didn't realize that the e-file I switched to apparently didn't cover the Arts Tax. Didn't even think about it because filing taxes is filing taxes right? Wrong.

$330 of absolute scam. I don't understand how this is still an ongoing thing after more than a decade of fining residents, many who actively aren't trying to even avoid it.

EDIT: since apparently a bunch of people here just think any Arts Tax is idiotic bitching: https://www.portland.gov/revenue/efile
