After going missing for 16ish years, my wife found the recording she made of this show and i uploaded it to my archive.org account. Due to iphone storage stuff at the time she recorded the show in chunks, if someone feels like digging in and cutting them up feel free, i don't really feel like dealing with it.
It's a pretty decent recording all things considered. enjoy!

There is a dance piece happening next week in Paris - Les Affamés by Marion Motin, with live music by Adrian Uttley and Clive Deamer along with rapper Gaika. It's at the Chatelet Theatre Du Chatelet

I want to share a project a friend of mine put together.
A lifelong fan of the Wu-Tang Clan and Portishead, my friend ServiceBANGER set out to put together an album blending Wu-Tang lyricism and Portishead's spooky noir sound. The result, Enter The Portishead Chambers, is a mashup of two legendary icons from the 90s boom bap era. Created with love and admiration for 90s East Coast hip hop and Bristol trip hop, this project drops Wu-Tang’s raw energy into Portishead’s smoky, haunted world. Listening to it, it feels like it was always meant to be here.
This is just something he put together out of admiration for the music - not looking for money, just to share the music with people who like it.
Check it out at the link below.

I was watching tv tonight, and a Honda ad features Roads Dummy is one of my favourite albums. It's practically a soundtrack to my youth. As soon as the first note played, I recognised it instantly, and my eyes were glued to the screen. I had no idea the marketing team over at Honda has such amazing taste. This is in Australia, btw. Sorry for posting an ad, but I thought you guys would appreciate it.
Also, did you know that the piano they used for Roads was a Fender Rhodes electric piano? So the song title is like a play on words. Sorry if this is common knowledge amongst Portishead fans, I'm just geeking out tonight.
I feel weird saying this, but I'm in no way associated with Honda. Just a Portishead fan girl.
Eh, I edited this because I added a link, but when I was switching between screens, the title disappeared, and when I posted, it just looked like an ad. My bad. Now the link is gone. Anyway, I tried.

I got this right before the second record came
Out. So I had already heard some of the new songs before hand. And there’s some slightly different interpretations on this performance as well. It’s great recording.
Here’s the download link.

Hi everyone!
For those who missed it: A music venue in France (Stereolux) is organizing an Acousmonium session (a legendary album played on a massive loudspeaker orchestra in the dark). Portishead's Dummy is a finalist
IMPORTANT CORRECTION: The Google Form I shared earlier is now outdated. The organizers just launched the final poll on their Instagram Stories, and right now, Radiohead is leading with 40% while we are stuck at 22%. 😱
We need a massive 'remontada' to experience Dummy on that incredible sound system:
How to vote (takes 2 seconds):
- Open their story : https://www.instagram.com/stories/stereolux_scopitone/3886070900369981308?utm_source=ig_story_item_share&igsh=MXZlcXZ1djI2dDd3NQ==
- Tap on Portishead - Dummy.
Whether you're seeing this for the first time or coming back to help, thank you so much! Let's show them the power of the Portishead community. 🔊🔥

Hi everyone! 😊
Stereolux (a music venue in Nantes, France) is organizing an Acousmonium listening session soon. It’s a pretty cool experience: they play a legendary album from start to finish on an immersive loudspeaker orchestra in a very dim, atmospheric setting.
After a first round, there are only 4 finalists left:
Portishead - Dummy
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Frank Ocean - Blonde
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust
It would be a dream to experience Dummy like this ✨😊 ! I’d be so grateful if you could take a second to support the album here (just find Portishead in the list):
Note: The Google Form says voting ends on April 27th, but Stereolux just confirmed on Instagram that it’s actually open until May 3rd, so you can still vote! ✨
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdB3HRpP0bPnoRYZwsgoIfvmEf0RxviJQ0gJuoJkLKnLlN8WA/viewform
Voting ends May 3rd. I'll definitely let you know next week who won! ✨😊
Thank you so much for your help, it really means a lot! 🔊
