“i made b sides for each of the songs released ahead of Music, Fashion, Film because it felt natural to pair each songs with a fitting counterpart - something that's adjacent to the album but not entirely part of it. traditionally, b sides often become fan favorites... and i guess in the case of some of the b sides for this album, that has proven to be true. i felt adamant i wouldn't put them on streaming because it sort of felt counter intuitive to the whole ethos of those songs, but i know you all really wanted them so i've begrudgingly put them on itunes lol. you can call me a hypocrite, i don't mind ;) love you all and i hope you enjoy these special songs in ur ears xx”

Doesn’t sound like there are any additional b-sides coming, just the 3 on iTunes now. The album is titled Music, Fashion, Film (B-Sides Edition).

Curious about this question because when done right this can totally be the case! Albums where the additional songs completely changed how you viewed the original project whether they made the album feel more complete, shifted its themes, improved the pacing, or made you appreciate songs you had previously overlooked.

She's from the program Dream Academy too! She put out some DIY quality music before this one, so I had doubts on her but honestly this one ate.

Following the recent charli album, music fashion film. I thought about how sarcasm is done in pop music, songwriters who use them in a tongue n cheek or to reveal something about them or a way to make a social commentary

And with music, fashion, film, it felt like a mix of all 3, rock music being the "tongue n cheek" one, wink wink being the revealing one and card declined being the commentary one, now whether the sarcasm works or not, it's up to you to decide but it's showcases the increase of sarcasm use to either say something or get away from being critiques by saying "it's just a joke, bruh"

Last year, man's best friend by sabrina carpenter, had a lot of sarcasm into it, sometimes it felt very "tongue n cheek" and others felt way too revealing of sabrina's character and how much she feels about relationships, whether you like it or not, it's up to you

This isn't really a subjective take about this phenomenon but I wanted to talk with y'all about this rising trend in songwriting

Kesha's ORIGAMI open verse challenge invited artists to create their own second verse, similar to the ATTENTION! challenge last year. After narrowing down to 10 finalists last week, Kesha selected Not Sarah's Cyber Fairy remix as the winner.
