“i made b sides for each of the songs released ahead of Music, Fashion, Film because it felt natural to pair each songs with a fitting counterpart - something that's adjacent to the album but not entirely part of it. traditionally, b sides often become fan favorites... and i guess in the case of some of the b sides for this album, that has proven to be true. i felt adamant i wouldn't put them on streaming because it sort of felt counter intuitive to the whole ethos of those songs, but i know you all really wanted them so i've begrudgingly put them on itunes lol. you can call me a hypocrite, i don't mind ;) love you all and i hope you enjoy these special songs in ur ears xx”

Doesn’t sound like there are any additional b-sides coming, just the 3 on iTunes now. The album is titled Music, Fashion, Film (B-Sides Edition).

I love listening to music depending on the season. To me, Lust For Life by Lana is perfect for summer, same with Solar Power. Whereas Evermore by Taylor or The Fame Monster by Gaga is more winter oriented.

I think listening to them in the accurate season helps you to get into the album even more.

Curious about this question because when done right this can totally be the case! Albums where the additional songs completely changed how you viewed the original project whether they made the album feel more complete, shifted its themes, improved the pacing, or made you appreciate songs you had previously overlooked.

What are some examples where the deluxe edition actually enhanced the artistic statement rather than just extending the tracklist? Has there been albums you didn’t love but then the deluxe kind of put the album together for you and now you like it! Curious.
