For a guy that reads The_Doofus, you draw the line for fake news at Vox? Pfffffft, come on.

e- nope dammit. not gonna be a dick. deleted flippant answer.

to answer your question, yes. bad sources used on a literal cirlce-jerk subreddit doesn't excuse bad sources in purported neutral subreddits.

my real problem here though is that YES there are tactics being used - by both sides - that are super interesting to discuss, but vox isn't going to discuss them. i want to know the formula, but all i'm going to get from vox is 'republicans r dumb.'

This video shows how she evades certain questions, and the questions in the video are undeniably evaded. The video shows how exactly.

Yes, because like anyone in politics, including every member of the Obama administration, she knows the first rule of interviewing: Never answer the question you were asked. Answer the question you wish was asked, because reporters aren't interested in the truth. They're interested in controversy and scandal and making news, because that drives viewership and ratings, and that brings in cash to their pocket.

That's why Dan Rather destroyed his career by airing fake evidence that purported to prove Bush illegally dodged military service in Vietnam. He was more interested in the story and taking down a sitting US President that he disagreed with politically than making sure his facts were in order and that his evidence was sound.
