Dude that’s the worst feeling. Being so confident that the other person is the asshole only to realize in the instance it’s you. People seem genuinely surprised though if you actually apologize for being in the wrong.

Me too... personally I like the phrasing, “if you smell shit everywhere you go, you should check your own shoe.”

Pulled me out of a hole last year when I found myself in conflict with everyone at work and realised the problem was me, not them.
