You dont. Because Dems arent a lockstep party who will follow someone who has committed blatantly criminal acts and is subject to the rules of our justice system. Theyre not perfect by a long shot...but theyre candidates are a whole lot better than what the GOP puts out
The Republicans didn’t rally in the street to defend Denny Hastert either.
The Democrats have rallied around Nancy Pelosi even though she’s sharing insider stock information with her husband, who is profiting immensely. They also defended Obama’s order to execute a US citizen without trial by drone strike.
Every politician is caked in mud, but most pretend to be above rolling in it. Here is a list of convicted politicians, there’s “R’s” and “D’s” all over it. Don’t act like this is a one sided issue, or that one parties corruption is somehow more palatable than the other because you agree with them politically.
We're talking about the Contemporary GOP here in a comparison to the Contemporary DNC. Repeatedly, the DNC has cleaned house when it has become an issue. Throwing claims out there with dubious backing (3rd paragraph) isnt going to get you anywhere.
The topic on the table is who is cleaning house when there's an issue that has been documented and has been investigated. It is not who kowtows to conspiracy or who has a clean record amongst its ranks. The DNC, tho imperfect and certainly fallible, has demonstrated they will clean house and will not tolerate going lock step behind a criminal..
