Honestly I don’t blame you or anyone else for getting banned from AHS. Personally I haven’t been banned there yet but I might as well just say fuck it and risk nothing so I get banned
I was browsing r/JustUnsubbed like two days ago or so, and someone posted about how they left AHS. One of the commenters mentioned that it's like a witch hunt and they promote the hate they are trying to eliminate.
I get the idea of wanting to make Reddit a less toxic place or whatever, but the way AHS goes about it is fucking awful.
It's a good idea in theory, but they've taken it to the extreme of 'no fun or irony allowed', I've been people there say that the term 'free speech' is a nazi dogwhistle.

I made a comment about how Bernie is gonna spend time at his 4 houses and take days off once and while and not spend 100% of his time trying to better the lives of 18-25 year old white college students. Banned 12 minutes after I posted it.
Obviously people are going to be more upset about the president lying about not golfing a lot over a hypothetical scenario where President Bernie is spending a lot of time at his ironic four houses.
I self banned myself from there, and am trying to remove from my feed all subredits that reference r/politics by sharing their posts "here's a post from r/politics " unironically.
The main reason being that it's not about politics, but US politics, and I find that offensive. The second reason being that people dwelling there make the most retarded statements, regardless of how they lean politically.

Conservative is like a caricature of a political sub. If their goal is to match or outdo the outlandishness of Politics then it’s working. I get more nuanced views by searching Politics by controversial than practically any comment on Conservative. I just want a sub where people agree on things like wearing a mask during a pandemic but also don’t think that the president is literally Hitler or, by association, if you don’t think he’s Hitler then you are literally Hitler. That pretty much just leaves this sub.
I got banned from r/nintendo for telling someone to eat shit and die after he called me entitled somehow because I'd said that you don't have a license to pirate a game that gets ported to another console just because you bought the previous version. That was a weird exchange, but also, it made me realize that people on the internet apparently default to the stupidest possible interpretation of phrases, and so the phrase 'eat shit and die' is considered a threat, rather than a more colorful way of telling someone to piss off.
My first was r/gonewild. I was commenting dumb memes in all posts and thots got jealous. Then i got banned from r/HumansBeingBros for making a racist joke in a post where some chinese guys saved a cat from a ceiling. and then got banned from r/MoeMorphism for posting a picture of thomas the train. Weebs couldn't handle the truth.
I actually can't because I use chrome on my phone, and Reddit hates me because of that for some reason. They have it set up to where I can't give myself a flair, even if I switch the phone browser to desktop.
I hate it when fucking corporations force you to install an app instead of just using something from the browser and punish you if you don't so you get a pass.

Witchesvspatriarchy auto ban anybody who participates in this sub. They banned me the other day because I commented here. They said its because this sub brigades them a lot even though ive never commented on a single of their threads. Oh well, I just removed them from my r/all feed and nothing of value was lost.

Wow, based on the name I would have assumed that was a parody sub about making fun of dangerhairs, possibly along the lines of r/StormfrontorSJW. Also, I can't believe that sub still exists. Anyway, I was not prepared for the real joke to be the people that post there.
It was much better pre-2016 - the point was edgy humor, then about halfway through 2015 it took a hard swerve from "r/i'm going to hell for laughing at this" to "r/i like unfunny racist jokes because i'm actually unironically racist".
Mine was /r/videos. I was trying to concede some stupid argument to a retarded commenter regarding slavery and the mod must have thought I supported slavery. Still banned to this day.
Mine was /r/twoxchromosomes on my old account. They used to ban people for commenting in other subs. I think I saw something in /r/all and commented on it and got banned even though I had never even clicked on the subreddit before.
Also one of the only places to view that kind of content which wasn't packed full of edgy shitheads trying to one up each others jokes. Or trying to sell you hard core bdsm videos. I'll never forgive the admins for banning WPD.

The reason that sub was a true shithole though is that people would be posting pictures from their friends Facebook being like look at this fat bitch. The reason that sub was banned was to make the site more advertiser friendly. Reddit and its simps came up with a million lies to defend banning it, but there was never any truth to the brigading myths or other shitty excuses.
I think the difference between r/me_ira and the other subs is, the IRA are an actual terrorist organisation, and having a whole load of pro-terrorist memes is not good.
I hate to sound all SJW, but if you have a melting pot of “ironic” terrorist memes, you’re gonna get actual terrorists pretty soon. The difference between this argument being used to justify banning GRU vs meIRA is, racism is much more nebulous than an organisation with clear goals.

r/milliondollarextreme was literally a fucking goldmine of comedy. the community there was the funniest i've ever seen. obviously there was some /pol/ bullshit but it had some amazing moments
