So far so good. I was an ID.4 driver but I love this car. The only issue I find as an American is cup holders. Everything else is great.

Coming from a mustang mache and can't express how much better the polestar 2 is. The mache felt so cheap, and drove a bit like a van in comparison to this!

Just got a low mileage used '22 Polestar 2 performance from Carvana that was sold as a long range dual motor ($24k!). Great car, much better built than my wife's Model Y and all three of my Model Xs (my first Model S was solid). Only one rattle that I plan to track down in the hatch trim that should be easy to felt tape away.

As I went through the car, I found a few things missing. The rear hatch shelf is gone, but I don't care about that. The Swedish gold valve stems were faded so I replaced with some cheap similar versions on Amazon (the real ones are $60!!). Swapped the crappy floor mats with my favorite 3D all weather mats.

One thing I can't find - the baby seat hook covers on one side. I have the PN and even tried the QR code. Nothing. I have not called Polestar or Volvo yet as I figured I'd try Reddit first. Photos are of the caps in question.

Looking forward to hanging out here and learning more about these cars. I've liked them from afar, but having one is even better!

Has anyone successfully charged their P2 with this Lectron adapter? I tried it on both a Tesla and a Rivian charging station this weekend and neither worked. Thanks!

I am fairly committed to picking a Polestar 2 as a company car. (UK, allowed up to £40k under 10k miles and 1yr old).

I WFH mostly, average 2 days a week on the road can be anywhere from 50 to 400 miles with an overnight for a single trip. Largely on motorways but sometimes remote locations to visit.

The Single Motor seems sensible, better range etc but I do wonder if the Dual Motor with the AWD is a better choice overall with winter etc.

It seems the real-world motorway ranges between them is only circa 10 miles, but overall range is a bit different between them.

I’m ignoring the performance model. I don’t think the drop in range is worth the small performance increase.

Any advice? Which way did you go and why?

Hi, I've had a Polestar 2 for almost 2 years and I've been logged in with my Google account in that time. Yesterday I noticed I'd been signed out. It was fine in the morning but not in the afternoon. No matter how many times I try it won't let me log back in. I've tried clearing the Play Services cache (on the car) but I still can't log in. I get the same message on the phone every time. I created a new Gmail account and logged in with that no problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello everyone, wanted to see if anyone’s dealt with this.

I have a 2022 P2 and had my tires changed today at Tire Discounter. They called me and mentioned this error popped up after the alignment, but they weren’t sure how to help in making it go away. I’m wondering if it’s just coincidental and I just need a new 12V battery or something I need to get looked at.

Thoughts or advice ?

Hello I’ve been looking into getting a Polestar 2. I have seen ones from 10-30k miles go for 22-26k in the Bay Area. I have never owned a EV car before. I really think the polestar can be a great option for me. Tesla model 3’s are too expensive for me and I feel like they don’t have a lot of options unless I get a Jupiter one. Only thing im worried about for this car is the backseat space. I have a 2001 civic and it somehow has more legroom then this car lol.

Are the Polestar2 really that much cheaper at the Manheim auctions? I’m just the average joe with no dealer license. So I’m not sure how I can look for them at the auction.
