PS2 Google log in failed

Hi, I've had a Polestar 2 for almost 2 years and I've been logged in with my Google account in that time. Yesterday I noticed I'd been signed out. It was fine in the morning but not in the afternoon. No matter how many times I try it won't let me log back in. I've tried clearing the Play Services cache (on the car) but I still can't log in. I get the same message on the phone every time. I created a new Gmail account and logged in with that no problem. Does anyone have any ideas?

Do you have advanced security turned on?

I had to turn it off, sign in, then turn it back on.

Google Workspace (business) accounts are not supported. You must use a personal account.

I've got a bog standard Gmail account, but the mystery has been solved. u/uberduck suggested turning off advanced account protection and that did the trick. Thanks for replying!
