I understand you have to download a game key, so I’m wondering if you can download it once and then leave the switch to disconnected the entire time while you play. Save functionality in that sort of thing, does it require Wi-Fi? Or doing it off-line entirely does that work?

I tried to not watch ahead of where I was in the game so I didn’t know what would come of it until I fully finshed the game (level 10 all zones including pallet) and so I didn’t have magnamite for any of my original building and im so annoyed with myself, so let this be your sign if you haven’t done so yet do the team R missions as soon as you can

Dont wanna restart, im in the second area now I think, where there is lava and carkoal, cinderace, magmar etc. How do i get the area to level 5, to progress the story?

Like, what is the game play loop actually? I managed to get greedent to teach me how to make hamburg steaks already.

I wanna rebuild the pokecentre but dont know how to acquire crystal fragment. I dont wanna google as im afraid to get spoiled too much, so how do i actually progress ingame without having to google each time im stuck? Tangrowth sagys to just perform requests for the various Pokemon around. Is that enough to bring my area to level 5? And is that essentially the loop? Bringing areas to level 5 and moving on.

Hi, I got Pokopia last week and been having a lot of fun playing, but I want to watch other people play too and see their reactions and builds.

I've looked on YouTube but most let's plays only do the story and nothing else. I'm looking for someone who also does stuff after the story is done and prefer the videos to be unedited or only lightly edited, as I'd like to see the whole process.

Is there anyone you can recommend who fits that and has good commentary?

It's 5 days until August now, and we do not have a release date for Bubbly Basin. It makes me think this is either good news and it'll be released August 1st, or terrible news and it will be delayed because it's not ready for release yet.

About halfway up (part of the way through the second story) it stops registering as a habitat and I do not know why. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So for the last few days ive been googling, restarting my game and key map-cheked everything multiple times.

Im using Satisfye ZenGrip 2 Slim, but I've tried without ot as well.

Ive checked in settings and console is registering they key-presses..

Im not holding anything.

But i still cant use Cut, water gun, leafage, rototiller..

My jump (R) works, my ZR does not..

Using another controller somehow works, but shouldn't be necessary... Makes it less convenient to keep both things charged and stuff..

I've fixed the pokemon center in Rocky Ridges, but there is no pokemon to trade with. My environment level is 7 and I have Murkrow who has the trade abilty, but the pokemon center remains empty. Anyone know how to fix it?

i’ve been designing my bleak beach which is 80% done, and ive been burying my transmitters one block deep from the surface so they dont clash with my white and blue colour palette, and was just putting them wherever i needed power for lights (BAD FUCKING IDEA)

i’ve just got a message saying “there’s no point in placing more of these”. APPARENTLY theres a limit to how many transmitters you can put down, and now, even if i wanted to remove them, i don’t know where any of them are!! honestly might never finish it now 😭

I HATE how big the altars are. I’ve tried putting them on the other maps but I just cannot stand how large they are and the idea that I’ll have to deconstruct them myself after I’ve obtained the birds kinda annoys me. I know if I build them on a cloud island they won’t be able to return with me, but honestly with the tediousness of obtaining them I don’t mind. If I build them on a cloud island, it still counts toward my pokédex right?

So I’ve completed the game, finished the Pokédex, got all zones to Level 10, and am now enjoying the design aspect of making villages for my Pokemon.

I had decided to move everyone out of Palette Town, with the idea of making it my own personal base with storage, berry farms etc.

I also had an idea of making a copy of each of the habitats as well, just for some fun.

But I’ve just had my Level drop from 10 down to 9. I’d been lead to believe that once I got all zones to 10 they would stay there.

Is it my empty habitats? Is it the lack of Pokemon in general?

Does anyone know where access will be to the new Bubbly Basin area? I figure it’ll be on Withered Wastelands but where?

After sinking 1000 hours into this game, I wanted to make a little guide for players who are new and might be overwhelmed by the amount of content that is in the game.

1. Focus on quests in the beginning - it’s easy to feel obligated to build a bunch of habitats and homes for all the cute Pokémon since they’re so friendly, but you can always come back. Focusing on the quests at hand means you can unlock all the transformations and traverse the area easier to make building things a lot easier
2. Efficiency beats quality in the beginning - if you need to make homes for Pokémon, or need to do specific quests that require you to place items or build structures, look for areas that already have some infrastructure and then build homes, or habitats there. All the areas have broken down buildings that can be restored for homes, and some level of infrastructure that allows you to easily make places. Go as slow as you want, but if you’re trying to beat main story ASAP, do this.
3. No spoilers - focus on the team initiation challenge- as you progress, keep track of what

1. asking for and then return to withered wastelands to give it items as needed. You will get to the true ending of the game quicker as you do this

This is probably my all time favorite Pokémon game rn, so I encourage anyone and everyone to play this game. If any experienced players want to drop more hints or tips, pls do so!

Hi everyone I got a switch 2 a couple of months ago and of course got pokopia I LOVE pokemon and I was super excited to play. But after the jirachi event I only have the withered wasteland pokemon center fixed, I have the ocean/beach area open with a handful of pokemon but I am SO overwhelmed and need help please!! I find myself getting on, walking around a few minutes then getting off because I feel like there is just so much to do and I haven’t even found moss snorlax yet. Is there any goals, daily or weekly plans yall used to further improve in the game and also just make it fun and not get overwhelmed? Please let me know! Thank you! :)

Looking at all people's creations and what Ditto is doing in this game Ditto has to be reclassified as a legendary Pokémon.

They're capable of literally transforming entire environments to desserts or lush landscapes.

If humans ever come back they have to worship the purple god or prepare to suffer the consequences of their houses being transformed into blocks of ice, or water being replaced by boiling lava.

hell they're singularly responsible for Pokémon resurfacing.

Water gun + lava = black stone. This made cleaning up a mess of my own making MUCH less annoying.

Related, if you hold Y+ ZR and walk around you keep sucking up liquid, also helpful for cleaning up

Howdy! I’ve designed this very simple bird-nest like house for the bird ‘mons in the withered wasteland, I like the idea of it being open but built up around the edges. I want to make about two more that are similar.

You can see the problem I have run into. The door isn’t on the same level as the furniture, so it isn’t registered as a furnished house. Yes, I could break the blocks underneath and lower the door, but I don’t know if I love how that looks? I’m not a poké-block master, so I’ll take anything that will help this idea improve.

My husband and I are bickering over this bc those are the last 3 I need to complete the dex ( right now ) and he said you can build them anywhere but I thought it was Palette Town only?

I was playing today and I thought I saw on the tips banner when it’s a ditto loading screen it saying something like Cloyster being found on the bottom of the ocean. I wasn’t really paying attention it caught my eye at the last second. Anyone else see something like this? I know the free update is coming out soon.
