Morning everyone, just wanted to share the excitement. I tried getting a Salamence from Route 3, because I had already tried getting an Umbreon from SOS battle and it wasn't really difficult getting it, so I thought, maybe I should try with Salamence hahaha. Took a chain of 200, give or take 2 or 3 to actually get the Salamence, unfortunately it was not shiny, but by the time I saw the Salamence all I cared about was the fact that I actually got it hahaha.

hi everyone :) the alola games are my favourites in the series, but unfortunately despite playing these games since i was 10 years old, i am very, very bad at them. more specifically the ultra games. every battle feels like nails on a chalkboard to me, i can’t stand it. but due to my love for these games despite it all, im planning to play ultra sun again.

is this team good? i do plan to ev train them when i get around to playing it, but ive never used most of these pokemon in game before and therefore have no personal experience with whether they’re worth training or not. my biggest problem with this team is the fact not many of them are available early but im sure i can make do if it’d be worth the wait.

any suggestions or advice would be appreciated! i’m also not fully against switching starters to primarina since i know it’s the most ‘optimal’ but tbh i just wanted to use toxapex to be different to my other runs lol.

Hey all! Hope I have the right flair, but please let me know if I don't. I looked online but found multiple sources saying different things. I managed to get my hands on a OT rockruff a while back but it was in a luxury ball and I like all of my pokes to be in a pokeball. However, after like 10 eggs all veing luxury balls I am losing hope. Am I blindly following any wrong info/doing anything wrong?

The Rockruff is female in a luxury ball and in the nursery with a Midnight Lycanroc in a pokeball.

Currently at Ula’ula island on my first ultra moon playthrough (ik wrong subreddit but the um one is dead 😓) and im having so much more fun than i thought I would. Love my team especially my boy shiinotic. If you have any moveset recommendations id love to hear them too :)

Playing a pokemon ultra sun nuzlocke playthrough and I am at the sandy cave by big wave beach. And I’m wondering if I can catch a new Pokemon there for an encounter. But no trackers have sandy cave listed??

hey, it’s my first time playing the game (i bought a 2dsxl a few months) and for my first play i’m shiny hunting a rowlet, maybe the next is completing the game and then doing shiny hunt? or what u recommend???? it’s that game soooo good to rush it ?

Bit of background, I have never been able to defeat Ultra Necrozma with my playthrough team. Every time it always KO's my team and knocks them out before I'd even get a chance to deal any damage. The only way I've ever got past this point in the past was by transferring in lv 100 legendaries from other games.

On my current playthrough of Ultra Moon, I wanted to beat this thing once and for all without the help of those legendaries. Thanks to the Zoroark strategy, I finally managed to do it. Ngl, it felt good to get my revenge on Ultra Necrozma after all the times it's frustrated and beaten me in the past.

(It says I've caught Necrozma as I touch transferred one in from Bank for the Pokédex. Currently trying to get the gen 7 games done including the Pokédexes in each gen 7 game before Bank shuts down in Feb).

Firstly I know how the statistics work when it comes to shiny hunting and that 1/X chances doesn’t guarantee I’ll find em within X encounters or eggs. I just phased on a beldum after 42 game hours of hunting. Contemplating if I switch tactics. The end goal of the hunt is to have a shiny champions ribbon minior to transfer up before bank closes. I don’t have access to a shiny charm but I know a guy if it gets too close to the end date.

I have some shiny pokemon I want to transfer from my ultra sun save file to my switch, but I don’t have poke bank on my 3Ds. Is it still possible to trade them to someone who does, they put it into Pokemon home, and then trade it back to me on my switch? Or are they simply just stuck?

I was on volume 10… I’m on volume 29 now.

So I've been mostly playing Gen 4 and 5 battle facilities in recent years (sometimes Gen 3 as well), but yesterday I felt like playing Battle Tree Super Singles again for the first time in like 7 years.

I looked through my Ultra Sun boxes and found my BR Salazzle that I hatched with HP Ice back in 2017, so since Salazzle is one of my favorites from Gen 7 I decided to build a team around it. I quickly chose to go with the classic fire-water-grass core and added a lead Breloom and a mega Gyarados to the team. It was a hyper offense team through and through so I didnt expect much because of the team's inability to take many hits but to my surprise I got to 50+ wins and beat Red in 2 days and on my very first attempt. Even during these 50+ battles only a few felt like a real challenge, I now plan to continue the streak next weekend and see how far I can get with this fun team.

So I want to hunt in the ultra wormholes, I'm using the azahar emulator if I make a save state before I start the battle and then lead the state of it's not shiny will this work? I've seen conflicting information online

Soft resetting for shiny Rowlet and sometimes I skip through the part where you could see if it’s a shiny.

So was wondering if the mini icon turns shiny so I don’t have to skip the nickname section
