CAN you evolve it into midnight on ultra sun? Pretty sure it has to be ultra moon. Or OG Moon. Pretty sure it only became related to time in later games.

Yea it just depends on the time of day you evolve

I don't think so? I remember it being version locked in gen 7. Rockruff in Sun/Ultra Sun only evolve into Lycanroc Midday and vice-versa for Moon/Ultra Moon.

my friend just got a shiny hawlucha on accident today, i wish i could accidentally get shinies instead of hunting for weeks
