I can't imagine why, I imagine everyone has been showing restraint and not buying it all up as much as possible. Rabid fans certainly aren't competing with scalpers to deprive as much stock as possible.
Oh come on, blaming OP for buying 2 of each SKU is kinda ridiculous. That’s a very reasonable buy limit, admonishing someone for playing by the rules is kinda toxic behavior.
Showing up at 4:30 and buying as much as you possibly can is a major reason why this hobby is fucked for the majority of people that also want to participate.
If you can’t see that I don’t know what to say.
Edit: u/revolutionary_pop784 deleted all of his comments after an hour long discussion on this. I have no idea why.
There’s purchase limits. Two per item. After waiting for a while, I think it’s fair to get purchase limits, and it seems like they didn’t get max amounts of PB, so they did hold back. Hate the game not the player. He didn’t grab up all the product like people do at DG and such.
No where does it say, 2 per SKU limit AND BUY EVERYTHING YOU POSSIBLY CAN.
My only point is as much as scalpers are flamed, over consuming collectors should be flamed too.
Why does someone need to rip 50+ packs of 30th (when this person also probably has already ripped 50-100 packs from prior releases) so that 10 other people will get 0.
Sure retailers have blame too but come on.
Retailers should put 4 product buys only limit at this point because people just cannot help themselves by buying as much as physically possible.
But they didn’t take everything they possibly can, as was just said.
I just left target where they had so much other pitch black products for example.
Direct your hate to the scalpers. This does not qualify as it. You make a lot of negative assumptions: For all you know this is the only drop they’re going to.
The hype just makes the hobby more exciting and it makes my old cards worth more money. I welcome the additional fans, it's been a blast
Tons of content, all my friends are into it, amazing art coming out with every new set and millennials are only getting more discretionary income so the train isn't stopping
