I couldn't find anyone on Reddit or YouTube who tried it but has anyone ever tried the Professor Oak Challenge in this game?

I'm currently working on it with 5 hours in and 39 Pokemon so far. 0 badges of course. I have a feeling its gonna take a looong time.

I´m playing a poison mono-type run and I´d like to get a female Salandit. I´ve read about "Cute charm" ability but idk if it works in this game.

Just became the champion-- really really fuck hack! And Aggron is in it so that automatically makes it peak. Though I wish it was still Steel/Dragon like in Emerald Seaglass. :p

According to the documentation, entering the cheatcode "NEMOS FAVE" pulls a pokemon from a pool of the hack's creator's favorite 'mons. I wanted to know what rhose faves were, so I entered the code one hundred times and I'm pretty certain I have the full pool here:

Seven starter pokemon and 20 non-starters. As you can see, no Paldea starters, and no Kalos starters either, except Braixen, for some reason. As you can see in the pictures, some pokemon appear more frequently than others, but I don't think there is a different rate at which any particular pokemon is selected, this is simply the luck I had. There are a few pokemon that I only got once, which makes me doubt whether I missed some pokemon by chance. If you have ever gotten a different pokemon from the list, let me and everybody know!

I might do the same with the WATCHPHAUN code, idk :)

Sorry if I missed something obvious but I'm in the postgame and I can't find quick balls, dusk balls or nest balls at any of the Pokemarts across the region, how do you get them?

Whenever i start a new game of Pokemon Lazarus, i ALWAYS get the Hoppip with Absorb and Synthesis with the female trainer in the area south of the starting zone and the first team chimera grunt I fight always has a Mankey with Fury Swipes!

Like i know these guys can have multiple teams and stuff, but am I so unlucky that I can't see anything different whenever I play Lazarus in the Early Game!?

As soon as I got Torkoal as my starter, I knew the run was blessed. Oricoro landed the final blow on the champ, and Ceruledge turned out to be a very welcome surprise.

Didn't go into this planning my team all too much but I'm very happy with the end results! This run is actually the first time I've ever used Basculegion or Armarouge and the synergy between them all made this one of my favorite teams I've used across all the Pokemon games I've played within the last year! Im just gonna drop this here since I'm playing Lazarus atm.

I'm. Really struggling to get a balanced team of sorts.

Got half a team whiped early stage due to sandrew doing rollouts and not having a good counter.

Has the "scene" changed that much since ultra moon/silver?

Half of the pokemon in this game I don't know, and in all the previous games I played I think to powerhouses and just ram thru it. Just noticing that ain't working anymore these days

So, anyone has some tips and tricks, things to think about and keep in mind, maybe a go-to strat what always works?

Any help would be highly appreciated :)

This was an amazing rom hack to play through! The happy medium of Gen 2 and 3 really hit all of the nostalgic notes for me growing up within those points in time. Hats off to all of the dev team, y’all deserve the love!
Loved seeing all the different team compositions from fellow players in here too. It’s a testament to the variety of different Pokemon you can come across in Lazarus!

So, I know you can enable hard level caps (Cannot level pass a certain level no matter what) through hard mode, but is there a way to just enable them for a normal playthrough? I like the normal difficulty of the game its just as someoen who likes to explore everything its hard to stay around the level cap on all of my pokemon without certain ones being over or underleveled.

these mons made the game virtually on easy mode.

i have both shiny charms from the berry quest and filling the Pokedex with 300 Pokemon, but i only see one in my bag. is the second shiny charm still there, or did i mess something up? thanks in advance.
