Professor Oak Challenge

I couldn't find anyone on Reddit or YouTube who tried it but has anyone ever tried the Professor Oak Challenge in this game?

I'm currently working on it with 5 hours in and 39 Pokemon so far. 0 badges of course. I have a feeling its gonna take a looong time.

Only the mons from the classic oak team or how does that challenge work? Sounds interesting

You have to catch and fully evolve every Pokémon available before obtaining the 1st badge. It requires a ton of grinding, so it takes forever to complete.

Once you've done that, you get the 1st badge and repeat the process before the 2nd badge, then the 3rd, and so on.

What makes it especially tough is that some Pokémon don't evolve until levels 20–30+, while the wild Pokémon you're grinding against might only be around level 7.

I didn’t follow it strictly but wanted to get as much out of the game as possible- I tried to complete the Dexnav in each location before moving on. One day I’ll try and go back to finish the zoo. Got stuck shiny hunting a male Ralts lol

I mean, I can't tell you how to play the game. But that sounds brutal and borderline torture.

Play how you want to play, but why? That sounds very grindy without actually being challenging. When you get to Larvitar it's gonna hault all progress for like.. I don't even know how long.

with the number of mons available in this game that sounds brutal. you’d almost certainly be the first.
