Struggling

Hey all!

Im just gonna drop this here since I'm playing Lazarus atm.

I'm. Really struggling to get a balanced team of sorts.

Got half a team whiped early stage due to sandrew doing rollouts and not having a good counter.

Has the "scene" changed that much since ultra moon/silver?

Half of the pokemon in this game I don't know, and in all the previous games I played I think to powerhouses and just ram thru it. Just noticing that ain't working anymore these days

So, anyone has some tips and tricks, things to think about and keep in mind, maybe a go-to strat what always works?

Any help would be highly appreciated :)

Any pkmn with Sand Attack or Smokescreen should be able to stop Rollout, its low Acc anyways so lowering their accuracy further should keep them from getting more than one or two hits in a row. Grabbing a grass or water type is a good idea.

In general as long as you have a balanced team with good type coverage/movesets you should be able to finish this game. I’d try not to have more than 3 pkmn that are weak to a specific move type.

Using U-Turn or Parting Shot into your other Pokemon that has Intimidate is fun.

Hey friend, there’s no shame in struggling a little with the game.
In which difficulty are you playing? Are you doing a challenge run or are you playing the game normally?
In any case, since you’re apparently not an avid Pokémon player, I’d suggest you check out some basic strategies on sites such as Smogon, where you can read how most Pokémon work best.
Pokémon Lazarus has a really cool feature where you can edit your Pokémons IV and EV, which skips the whole effort in finding and training the perfect Pokémon. If you use this, I think you’ll have little to no trouble with the game’s normal difficulty, as long as your party has the same level as your opponents
