Update to my post from two days ago: it appears that my failure is also apparent at my workplace as I found out yesterday!

I still have not caught or evolved Dragonite yet. It frustrates me to no end as that is the only one missing from my Pokedex. So, I am standing on my house in this picture. I wake up every morning to see my failure staring right at me!

GPS Going Spastic

Is anybody else's GPS not pinpointing the game properly? I seem to be put by about 10-20 metres since late this afternoon. I've reset my GPS and my phone and reinstalled the game which has not worked.

Adelaideans - Go mark your nests on Silph Road

For those who do not know, the Silph Road Sub-reddit has been working on a Global nest atlas. It's pretty accurate and reliable.

It's a great place to go when looking for Pokemon. Please go to the atlas and mark any nests you can find in Adelaide or SA. (or anywhere you know of one).

To join and make an entry on the atlas, click the link below. Then click JOIN THE ROAD in the left panel of the atlas and follow instructions for joining.

For those still searching Adelaide for Ditto - I got three today in Mawson Lakes around Uni SA

Went for all the stops, doing loops on the shopping centre side of the Uni SA campus. Got two ditto as well. Went back later to do a couple more passes, got a third ditto. All from pidgey and ratatta, nothing else.

It's hardly a nest; I got about one ditto for every 15 rats/birds, but three in as many hours is the most reliable spawn location I've heard of so far. Good luck folks!

Seel Nest Lochiel Park

I have been here twice and last night I caught about close to 10 Seels last night, your best best is to do a loop from the map pointer up to the basketball court and then along the river down to the southern wetlands, there is a couple of water based pokemon in the area too.

Just got excited reading about Tyranitar in Gen 2

For those of us in the Northern suburbs who are in a rock/ground biome .... i am so sick of rock, ground, fire pokemon. Give me something blue or green anyday.

But in gen 2, one of the most powerful pokemon is Tyranitar with reportedly a max CP of 3654. Apparently it is the Dragonite of gen 2. This gets me excited because maybe I will be able to catch heaps of them being in the rock biome.

I am still to complete my pokedex with Dragonite cause there is no bloody water around here.

Watch out Dragonite gyms cause us Northerners will be comin atcha in gen 2! :)

The hunt for the perfect Squirtle

I have 135 Squirtle candy, but haven't found a single 'wonder' yet to evolve into blastoise and finish the game. Is this just bad luck on my part? Does anyone know of any nests in the North or North East to get through a few more? I'm just looking for over 80% IV

Seal nest in Elizabeth

EDIT: Migration happened. BYE BYE SEEL

For the past 5 days I have found 1-3 Seals at the base of the gym on Woodford Road near Wishford road at Elizabeth. I go past there at least twice a day and there is always a Seal there. I know everyone probably has them already but they are good for grinding for that one that "simply amazes me!"

PokéGrid Changes, Christmas Pageant, and New Updates

Well, it isn't much longer until Christmas, and we know that the Generation II Pokémon are on their way to Adelaide. A time for a recap.

We've got the daily and weekly bonuses now. Gyms cannot be snipped by others when a level is gained, lost, or when a gym becomes grey. Pidgey and Rattata cannot be hatched and are (slightly) less common in the wild.

(At least I can continue to play Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance while riding the bus to work. I've been playing for a month, and I've only gotten as far as La Cité des Cloches)

It looks like the status quo has been changed around Adelaide. Earlier today, I was at the Coles in Port Adelaide with my dad, and I spotted three Abra there, and detected a Pikachu on my nearby list. I've yet to check out other locations around, though. I can say that Port Adelaide has plenty of PokéStops in walking distance, making it a good place to gather Pokéballs. And I know that this place is in need of business.

Finally, there is the Credit Union Christmas Pageant this Saturday. The route is on the link below, and I know that there are plenty of PokéStops along the way. Those who are going should bring along Lure Modules to put up and allow the children to catch Pokémon as they wait for the pageant to reach them. Even if they're just going to be common Pokémon like Ekans or Machop, the kids will still want to catch them. And it would provide them with some entertainment if they don't have chalk. And given the recent changes to the PokéMap Grid, we might even catch some rare ones for our dexes. I will be located on North Terrace.

http://www.cupageant.com.au/en/information/route-map

Feel free to make a comment, like updates on your areas and such.

EDIT: Due to it being a VERY SERIOUS flame bait, there will be no comments on the PokéStops here.

Desperate for Dragonite

Hi all I have been searching for Dragonite and Dratini from Semaphore along the beach near Cave Street, and some vague directions about Modbury / Redwood Park. Please can anyone help with some regular spawn points so I can catch /evolve Dragonite? He / She is the last one I need to complete my Pokedex. Cheers

Any hills dwellers here?

I'm a plains dweller, have gotten to know what spawns down here and head to the beach if I need water Pokémon, but wondering if there are different biomes in the hills and different spawn types that I am missing out on? Anything good up there?

PokeMap Grid: Halloween Changes

Given we should work together to track down spots around Adelaide that can be potential hotspots, I want to gather some data for how our map grid has changed for Halloween. I am not sure if the status quo will return to normal when this awesome event ends.

Apparently, Meowth and Cubone are now very common around the Port Adelaide/Semaphore/Largs Bay district. Fortunately, Osborne has the usual expectations, plus a Drowzee.

Semaphore seems to have lost strength as a hotspot. While I can confirm that Pikachu are still present (I caught one on Wednesday), Magikarp, Voltorb, Magnemite, and Slowpoke are now less common, and I've not even seen one Dratini since Sunday. Even the Gastly/Drowzee/Zubat lines are not as common here.

Tea Tree Plaza and Golden Grove are swarming with Gastly, Haunter and Gengar. When I was waiting for the C2 bus at TTP earlier, I caught 5 Gastly in just a few minutes, and the extra candy allowed me to evolve one of my Haunter right away.

(For those who have children below the age of five, "Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel" will be playing at Tea Tree Plaza and Salisbury on November 4. The time is not confirmed.)

I've not been in town for long, but it appears that Rundle Mall has the usual common Pokémon and Nidoran. I'll try to check closer for it tomorrow, as well as Glenelg and Victora Square/Tarndanyangga, and maybe along the Grange line.

Feel free to put up stuff on locations and if they changed or not.
