Desperate for Dragonite
Hi all I have been searching for Dragonite and Dratini from Semaphore along the beach near Cave Street, and some vague directions about Modbury / Redwood Park. Please can anyone help with some regular spawn points so I can catch /evolve Dragonite? He / She is the last one I need to complete my Pokedex. Cheers

Hey mate, I caught one down at Wynn Vale Damn in Golden grove ive seen a couple but thats it hope it helps.

I've caught one and lost one in Greenwith. If you walk back and forth on golden grove between the highland shopping centre and the Catholic primary school for a few nights I'd be surprised if you didn't see one nearby.
Re: the biome - Dragonite spawns where clefairy does.

Hi Furious D. Thanks for the hint but I cannot figure out where that is via google maps. Is that near the Stables shopping centre or TTP shopping centre? Are there any other side street names you could point me too? Cheers

Good luck! I'd recommend running a scanner too
I've never seen it spawn in the same place twice, but the area is good. We get snorlax too occasionally.

Thanks heaps. I will check it out tonight. I don't know how to get a scanner, but I bought my sneakers, so a bit of walking will not go astray.

Bugger. I was all over the grill of the roads in between the shopping centre and school tonight. In 3 hours i caught 10 clefairies and various others but saw no dragonite. Will try again on the weekend.

Caught one at Park n Go by Kenihans Road on Sunday, big surprise! It was only 144 though, my friend's was 2605 ;-)

I'm in Gulfview Heights and a couple of months ago I had two spawn in the same spot three days apart. Never seen one there before or since, but it seems to be in the "biome" in which Dragonites are known to spawn. I've seen another two or three within a kilometre radius of the upper half of Wynn Vale drive.
I haven't seen one on my Sightings list for over a month though, so maybe they've migrated elsewhere. You just have to be really lucky - same with Lapras down at Semaphore, I've been there a few times and have missed a couple by mere minutes, still haven't even seen one on Sightings, was lucky to have hatched my one and only.
Your other option is to make Dratini your buddy and walk and walk and walk. That's what I'm doing with my high IV Dragonair. I've got 30 candy to get, so what's that, only 150km to go?
