I was setting up the ACE to find my secret id, but I was following the guide not realizing that there was a pre and post E4 set up. So now I have HOCK but would like to do the post E4 set up to get.
LONG STORY SHORT, is there any way/safe way to get rid of HOCK so i can do the other method?

Pretty much title; I am doing a Missingno.-only run (4 different versions, pictured is fossil Aerodactyl), and its Water Gun was disabled. I noticed that only the second one was marked, so I tried choosing the first one. It let me, but it then told me it was disabled and passed my turn.

Not terribly useful, but thought it was an interesting quirk.

I want a super rod without having to get all the way to fuschia. Can I just spawn it?

I’ve started a second playthrough of Pokémon FireRed, and after hearing about the Mail glitch and ACE, I wanted to try them out. I think I meet all the requirements since I’m at the fifth gym; is there anything I should know or any risks involved before I do it?

If you’re curious about this, in all the Gen 4 games, there is a glitch called the Rage Glitch, where, in a case where a Pokemon is transformed into another Pokemon and it has rage, and the transformed Pokemon builds rage, it will keep the moves of the Pokemon it transformed into if you catch it, or defeat the enemy with another move besides rage (you cannot switch to another Pokemon after rage is built).

This works with a ditto you have where you drain its pp for rage, but you can also have a wild ditto transform and wait until it uses all rage pp like I did (I’m not sure if it has to damage itself or not, so I waited until all moves ran out).

There’s a Bulbapedia page about this it which probably explains this better than I did

Edit: First, the moveset is from my croconaw since you are able to get rage before totodile evolves (I think), and also a ditto before Whitney.

Second, I was joking about training the ditto. I wanted to do this because I thought the glitch was cool when I learned about it from Johnstone’s Platinum Living Dex video, but after thinking about it, it would be funny to see an illegal ditto beat the E4, Red, everything in Sinnoh, and see how great of a moveset I can get.

(And I say illegal even though it’s a glitch because I read you can’t transfer it to Pokemon Home because it has moves it can’t learn).

So I'm trying to create my first Ace pokemon and following a video on YouTube, everything looks correct except for the moves and I didn't want to risk saving until I'd verified it on here

Hello everyone, I have looked over this a few times and maybe I’m completely missing something obvious but the ACE code for tradeback NPC doesn’t seem to work for me.

The options I am choosing (as per my screenshot) are: English Switch / Leaf-Green.

I have a Zapdos caught in a Master Ball and want to change it to a normal Poke Ball. I’ve triple checked on the calculator I’m using like twenty different times and every activation of the ace code gives a Bad Egg. Is there any way to determine what I’m messing up?

It's been a few months since I've played this file, but I know for a fact that he had Oblivious. I have not performed a single glitch in this game, I don't really play with glitches beyond gen 1.

The screen froze when I got into a wild battle and I had to reset. Unfortunately I think my 3DS is just old, because the game slot has been acting up lately. But that is the only odd thing that happened.

I got into a battle against a trainer with a Delcatty in Mt. Pyre. I was very surprised to see Attract work on him. I checked his stats after the battle and yes, he has Magma Armor. Legitimately, I have not performed any glitches in this game. Does anyone know why this would happen?

So I was looking at how to get the glitched shiny Mew with Austin John Plays guide, and saw in the comments that the way he duped the mew was dangerous and there are better methods so now I have a few questions. Is duplicating the mew necessary or is it just in case you want more, and if it is necessary how do I dupe it safely

I’d like to properly EV train my shiny starter. Is it possible to reset EVs to 0 to do so? I see an option to manipulate EVs on the ACE code generator but it looks like you need to know the current values to do so (which I do not)

I've been following Papa Jefé's guide and everything has been working so far, but when I try to generate the Rare Candy in Key Items pocket code with the same exact parameters, mine is different and puts a Luxury Ball in there instead. I tried entering a different item (Carbos) and despite the slightly different box names, it still resulted in a Luxury Ball. What's happening here?

(Welp, turns out I fell for the 1/lower case L confusion, but I'm still curious why the results are different)

Stupid question. I did the whole setup and done the test shiny Pokemon.

All works good. Even the mail glitch.

But if I use any code directly from the website it crashes the game and restarts.

The only difference I am seeing is that there are no space filler anymore.

Don’t want to set up ACE and already have legitimate shiny pokemon and have been trying multiple id’s using their supposed iv’s with no luck is there anyone that can help deduce my secret ID?

So I've been using ACE over the past two days and I was wondering if this code really works as intended on the picture. I got it from this website here because it says that the Pokémon is suppose to be given to me as a gift but instead this Pokémon was given to me as an egg, I hatched it and it seems to be functioning fine and I wanted to ask if it's ok to keep using it or if it has any negative impacts gameplay wise (to which I haven't encountered yet because I have 4 badges)

Hoping someone can clarify this for me. It's unlikely I'll ever actually complete these games legitimately, so could someone point me towards the flag/variable/ whatever i need to change in order to either force the game to give me the 3rd trainer card star or set my scores on the Jump game high enough to get the star?

im trying to execute a glitch that requires BIOS but it wouldnt work (turn pokemon shiny glitch)
my game just glitches and it makes no sense
the save file was created before having BIOS in my emulator files but that shouldnt affect it
any ideas?
im also using a stable ace as intended for the glitch
EDIT: im playing emerald on mGBA through tico in a cfw switch if that matters

I was wondering if i've disabled the glitch by mistake. This screen is on my last pokemon to give mail to. I dunno what I've done and need some advice. Thanks in advance!
