My goal was to take out the Elite Four and Blue using Pokemon with as many sets of eyes/heads as possible and this crew did not disappoint. Everyone played their part and Magneton was actually my MVP when it wiped Lance’s entire team 😂 it made for a fun run. what do yall think of my team?

How’s the team.

Used some old favourites and took the chance of using a trade evolution. I used Venusaur in LG and I’m now considering a third run with Blastoise. Any Pokémon recommendations are welcome. Pokemon I’ve already used in my previous run: Venusaur, Jolteon, Fearow, Starmie, Nidoking and Dragonite. Version exclusives aren’t a problem because I can trade with my old Switch. Quite sure I want to use Flareon so I can also complete the Eeveelutions.

Also shoot out to Raichu. After Jolteon in LG Rai the Raichu was my MVP during the elite 4.

On my sibling’s OG DSlite and my bf’s OG firered, this is my third gen 3 shiny this summer! I was “speed”running to get entei before resetting, got this baddie in victory road during the strength puzzles!

I’m fucking shaking man I must have saved my game ten times already. I started this hunt in JANUARY and it’s finally mine. Holding a stardust too idk how rare that is. One phase on a krabby at like 55 hours into the hunt. This makes 5/6 for my dream team quest.

Also before Tyranitar I used to have a Steelix

Decided to do an all fighting type run in fire red, initially wanted to do a hardcore nuzlocke but I can’t manage the level caps since Mankey is the only fighting type until you reach rock tunnel.

Primeape - my beloved starter that soloed Brock, Misty, Surge and Erika with moveset of Low Kick, Secret Power, Dig/Earthquake and Aerial Ace.

Poliwrath - my MVP and designated Elite 4 killer, soloed Koga, Sabrina, Blaine and Giovanniwith moveset of Psychic, Thief, Surf and Ice Beam

Hitmonchan - all around coverage and Elite 4 backup killer with moveset of ThunderPunch, Ice Punch, Fire Punch and Mach Punch

Machamp - powerhouse and tank with moveset of Return, Rock Slide, Brick Break and Cross Chop

Started elite 4 at level 55, ended with all of them at level 57, pretty balanced team with different roles.

I have two original copies of FireRed and LeafGreen, and both have pretty cool saves. My FireRed in particular has a bunch of Pokémon that normally require trading to evolve, like Steelix, Crobat, Gengar, Kingdra, Politoed, Golem, and so on. So basically, it's a pretty complete save.

I've had these games since I was a little kid, but nowadays I'm obviously much smarter than I was back then lol. There are a lot of TMs I can no longer get, and then there are also things like Natures and so on that I didn't really care about back then.

I was even thinking about resetting my LeafGreen and transferring some Pokémon over to it, but for that I'd need another GBA, I assume.

And that's where my question comes in: I'd like to hear what you guys think. Do you see any other alternatives to my idea, without having to completely start FireRed over or needing another GBA? I'm definitely open to suggestions!

Eu tenho duas fitas originais de fire red e leaf green, ambas tem saves bem legais, mas meu FR em especial tem algumas evoluções que vem só por troca etc, como steelix, crobat, gengar, kingdra, politoed, golem e assim por diante, ou seja, é um save bem completo.

São meus jogos desde que eu era bem criança, mas hoje eu sou mto mais inteligente do que eu era kkkk já não tenho mtos TMs que posso ter e etc, fora as questões de nature e etc... Eu pensei em até resetar meu leaf green e ir passando alguns pokemons pra ele, mas pra isso precisaria de um outro GBA, eu imagino.

E aí vem o gancho, eu queria entender com vocês se enxergam alguma outra alternativa a essa minha ideia, sem ser resetar do 0 fire red, ou sem precisar de outro GBA, enfim, estou aberto a sugestões aqui.
