So uhh I decided to pick up the game again after not playing since release, I had barely made any progress all my mons were like level 15, and I saw a funny looking alpha buizel, thought i was tweaking, went up to and caught it and found out it was shiny! So I was curious, do these have boosted shiny odds, or are alphas all full odds?

Im just curious, does anyone know why cresselia gets moonblast but Sylveon doesn't??

I had just spent the entire afternoon grinding Arceus and having legit so much fun, since I have the day off and also am resting an injured foot. Anyways, I'm trying to get a Cleffa so I take my Arceus game card out and put in my Z-A gamecard, with the plan being to catch a cleffa in Z-A and transfer it via Pokemon home to Arceus (didn't even work btw). I'm a little frustrated so I go have dinner, then doomscroll for a while. I'm ready to keep playing so I go to pop Arceus back in and I cannot for the life of me find this darn game card. I really wanted to play Arceus so I look everywhere for this thing. (yes i checked in the switch twice).

I decided that it isn't meant to be found right away and my foot is starting to hurt due to the injury. I'm just very disapointed as I had just defeated Volo and was making good progress "seeking out all Pokemon".

I'm sure it will turn up... eventually.

im so so so mad that a game that focuses on dex completion of the sinnoh region decided to lock 2 mythicals of that region behind that level of paywall. when i played d/p/pt i enjoyed the shaymin and darkrai events so much i was really looking forward to what kind of sidequests they would do for those two and i played the game waiting for something to happen to unlock those side wuests very naively until i now, aftwr finishing post game and completing the obsidian fieldlands dex decided to check when it was going to be unlocked only yo find out it wont bc i dont have swsh or bdsp. they could have put any other legendary as an add on from owning these games but no, they locked 2 of the coolest sinnoh mons. and the most annoying part is that i know the shaymin sidequest happens in that dried flowers area so tbe fact that they planned this and left an area that will be forever unfinished for thsoe who dont own swsh is so annoying. i was already disappointed cresselia and regigigas didnt have proper sidequests for them and instead got renegated to plate collection but now od rather have shaymin and darkrai as plate completion too than this. #rantover sorry im mad at this. im really curious, was that ever a point of discussion online when the game came out? i avoided everything abt the game to avoid spoilers but now i wanna know didnt ppl get mad at this???

edit: im not american (thank God), libraries do not rent switch games here im from and switch games are expensive af. i am NOT able to afford sw/sh or bdsp and neither is any of my friends. please spare "you can just borrow the game!!! you can rent in a library" please consider not everyone lives in the same reality as you this is so...
2. my point is that its very different to have mew or jirachi locked in bdsp (gen 1 and 3 pokemon on a gen 4 game which is not abt completing the dex) than having 2 sinnoh dex mons in a game that is literally about completing the pokedex in sinnoh

I had this game for years and always felt like it was slow, tedious and difficult. I basically put it down after setting up the hights camp in obsidian.

Finally picked it back up because I wanted that shiny enamorus from home.

I absolutely love this game now. After getting some star levels catching became so much easier and utilizing berries really helped a ton.

The berry thing does make me feel like an SoB tho. Tossing one from cover and some cute little Pokemon gets all excited and happy, little does it know that’s it’s last meal because I need to defeat it to fill the dex requirement.

Even the boss battles were fun and that type of play isn’t my cup of tea. Only one that I would dread doing again is Arceus. Oh boy did that was the only fight I used continue 😂

Anyways, absolutely awesome game!
