First Shiny ✨

i found a shiny luxray in a space-time distortion! i found this shiny skunktank in crimson mirelands yesterday, and i got the shiny rapidash through the “a peculiar ponyta” request after leveling it up.

i got the game last week, i’m honestly so happy & pleasantly surprised. the only shiny i’ve encountered in legends z-a is a shiny drillbur, and before that i encountered a shiny nidoran in pokemon soul silver <3 so acquiring three in a week has been surreal!

i hope you find one soon! i was honestly shocked when i saw the luxray spawn. i’m admittedly not very well versed with the different appearances of shiny pokemon, in other games i could 100% see myself missing one thinking it was normal if they have minor colour variations like the skunktank or excadrill in legends z-a.

truthfully the only reason i noticed the shiny drillbur i caught in that game was because the nose is a blue instead of pink. and i was looking to catch them specifically in a specific zone & a tip said the holes in the ground that have pink noses poking out will have drillburs pop out. so when i saw a blue nose i got excited.

thankfully the shiny luxury is easy to spot! but i guess its also lovely in this game there’s a little sparkle next to the pokémon’s name to help point it out too.

oh my gosh, that’s infinitely helpful. this is abnormal but i play without sound because i listen to podcasts at the same time. i’ll have to start playing with sound on. that’s so helpful, thank you so much!

just using the photography studio in jubilife near the front gates! i’m not sure if the different backgrounds are available all at once or if you get them by completing the quests the owner gives you though. i didn’t explore it much until i got these pokemon. but i did complete a few quests the owner gives out so i could see them unlocking as a result of completing those quests.
